Chapter 1
Scarlett Wolff "I'm sorry we are just telling you about this now, honey. Your mom and I urgently need to be away for a few months..." I could barely handle the betrayal that hit me hard when my dad suddenly told me about his traveling last night, but just before I could react, he said something else to me. Something that melted all my anger away. "You don't have to be worried about being alone. I already talked to my friend, Lucien, and he is coming to pick you up to go stay with him for the time that I'll be away."'Lucien!' That name rang a bell in my ear.
My eyes had snapped open the moment I heard that beautiful name. I could still remember the excitement that sparked through my stomach. The butterflies flying in my stomach just at the thought of moving in with him.My dream was finally coming true...
***** It all started five years ago on my twentieth birthday when I set my eyes on this greek demigod for the first time in my life. Although I've seen his old pictures he took with my dad, but fuck! I couldn't stop the wetness underneath my pants and the hotness that spread through my body when I saw him in person for the first time. The desire and need I felt then, the urge to be taken by this man right there even though I knew it was wrong, would forever be etched in my memories. I've craved him for years. Enduring every torture that came with it. Even on days that I would be so horny, getting laid by another man had never crossed my mind. It had to be him or no other man. It had to be Lucien Alessandro. My father's best friend. I could never imagine being with any other man that was not him. It has been five years already, but every moment spent with him on my birthday, his smiles, his sexy voice, his handsome face. The hot body that laid underneath his clothes. Everything about him was still etched in my memory. Something I haven't been able to let go of over the years as I look forward to seeing him again. I felt a tingling feeling in my stomach, a warm feeling spreading across my body as I sat nervously on my bed with my neatly packed suitcase beside me, waiting for my Mr. Perfect to come get me. I jumped with speed and picked up my phone when it beeped, my heart beating fast when I saw the text from Mr. Lucien. 'I'm here' "He's here! He's finally here!" I whispered nervously, going to check myself one more time in the mirror. I've always been confident about my looks knowing that I'm one hella beautiful young lady, but I suddenly lost my confidence. It felt like I wasn't good looking enough for him. 'You look beautiful, especially with that hairstyle, Scarlett' My hands trembled as I carefully packed my blond hair up in a ponytail as his compliment from ears ago clawed back into my mind. I guess he likes my hair more in a ponytail. My heart pounded hard in my chest as I hauled my suitcase down the staircase, almost losing my balance as my legs were too weak to carry me. I took a deep breath, adjusting my crop top before pulling the door open, and as I spotted him leaning against his car which was parked right at the garage, I felt something jolt inside me. Just like five years ago, he was still looking the same. He didn't age a bit. His lips curled up in a smile, revealing his set of beautiful dentition as I approached him, my heart beating loud and clear that I could hear it in my ears. I halted in front of him, my fingers curled tightly around the handle. "H...hi!" My voice came out nervously as I looked up at his face to admire him. His face was still the same as when I last saw him. Oval-shaped face, sharp jawline, nubian-shaped nose, flawlessly smooth tanned skin, neatly trimmed full beards. His chin length silky black hair was brushed backwards with just a few strands on his forhead. My heart melted in my chest as I stared into his piercing brown eyes. Those eyes that always had me wet in between my legs. I swallowed a breath as my eyes shifted to his broad chest, lying underneath his black cotton shirt, almost hugging his body in all the places that I loved. "Scarlett..." My heart missed a beat when he tapped me on the shoulder gently, bringing me out of my trance, and it was then I realised he was already holding the car door open for me. "Oh... sorry," I muttered, bowing slightly. "Let me help you with that," his deep baritone voice melted my heart as he took my suitcase from me. I hopped in the front seat and waited for him to come join me. Shortly after, he hopped on the driver's seat beside me, and started the car. "Your seatbelt," I was lost staring at him until he spoke up, and I turned my face away, embarrassed. The ride to his house began. I pressed my thighs together, biting my lip, trying hard to suppress a moan. I could bet my life that my pussy was already slimy. My heart quickened, and I felt my core tighten with a need I couldn't deny. I wanted him, I couldn't deny it. 'Get it together, Scarlett. Pull yourself together' I fought the urge to slide my hand inside my trouser to touch myself, the only thing I could do was move uncomfortably on the seat, holding my breath as I felt a soft flush creeping over my body. "We are here," I had no idea how long we'd been on the road as I was in my world of fantasy, but his deep voice disrupted me, bringing me back to reality, causing me to let out a sigh. A sigh of relief. I noticed that he was already parked at the parking lot. He looked at me with concern, his eyebrows squinted as he asked. "Are you alright, Scarlett? You are sweating," I barely heard every other thing he said except my name. The way he called my name was so sweet. So sweet that I found myself imagining how it'll sound moaning it while he fucks the decency out of me. That is if I still had any at this point. "Hmm. I'm fine," I managed to nod my head, breathing heavily but lowly. "Oh... we are here..." I muttered, looking out of the window and gently doing away with the seatbelt before alighting from the car. The garage had about five cars, all looking shiny and expensive. My jaw dropped to the ground when I saw the elegant mansion in front of me. "This way," he led the way to the grand entrance with double doors, pushing it open once we got to it, revealing a long hallway leading to God knows where. I trailed behind him as he walked elegantly in front of me, and we were soon welcomed into the spacious well furnished living room which had my mouth agape. He paused and turned to me with a big smile on his face as he said, "Welcome to my home, Scarlett. Feel at home." He flashed a smile at me "Thank you, Sir," I returned the smile My parents have given me an opportunity, now watch me use it well...Chapter 71Scarlet Wolff My heart wrenched painfully as memories of yesterday replayed in my head, but I held my head up high. It was meant to be like that, anyway. My phone screen lit up with a text, and I went to pick it up. A smile spread across my lips when I saw the text from Derek.'I found one on lease. It's beautiful'"That's so fast." I muttered after reading the text and the address attached to it.I had reached out to him early this morning to help me find an available apartment for lease. It'll still take a couple of months before my parents will be back, and staying back here was the last thing I'd allow myself to do.'Thank you. Let's talk about it over lunch later'.I sent him a text and just as I was about to toss my phone away, it started to ring. I thought it was Derek at first, until I checked and saw that it was Alexa."Hey, baby girl." Her cheerful voice sounded through the phone as soon as I answered the call."Hey, baby." I slumped on the bed, rubbing my templ
Chapter 70Derek Woods "Where are you coming from?" Dad rose to his feet as soon as I walked inside the living room. His eyes were blazing with anger."You didn't show up for dinner yesterday. What do you think you are doing?" He yelled at me again, and I rolled my eyes."I told you that I wasn't interested in having dinner with you. I guess you didn't get the message." I replied to him casually, tucking my hands inside my pockets."I told you to lay low, Derek. I told you to-""Come on, dad. It's not that I killed anyone..." I cut him off, rolling my eyes as I walked past him."Why are you here this early morning by the way?" I paused, turning back to face him."What is so important that made you come here this early, hmm?" I raised my eyebrows, and he clenched his jaws tightly, glaring hard at me."Let's talk." He muttered, sitting on the couch.'I'm tired and not in the mood for this'.I wanted to tell him, but changed my mind and decided to hear him out.I walked over to sit on t
Chapter 69Derek Woods "I...I..." she stuttered, turning her face away from me.A scoff tore through my throat, my fingers slowly clenching tightly into a fist as I stared at her. I didn't want to believe she knew about it even though I could already tell from her reaction."Wait..." I closed the distance between us, and it was then I noticed the bruises on her arm which she tried to cover up. "Mom... what is this?" My voice came out in a whisper, my lips trembling as I reached for her hand, but she snatched it away from me, covering it up with her hand."It's...it's nothing, darling. I'm fine." She forced a smile, avoiding eye contact with me."That bastard... has he been abusing you?" My stomach riled up with anger, my heart pulsated in my chest, and my blood boiled as I asked her."No, darling. Ronnie... he is not abusing me." She quickly shook her head, and I scoffed in disbelief. Still defending him even though it was obvious, yeah?"You told me he was on a business trip. Was h
Chapter 68Derek Woods My fingers clutched tightly around the fork as I stared at mom blankly."It's three weeks, darling. I only found out about it some days ago, and I couldn't wait to tell you about it." She squealed excitedly."Wo...wow!" I muttered, not knowing what to say.Happy? That was the least of the things I felt at the moment. She wasn't supposed to be pregnant. Not for that bastard. "Congratulations, mom." I forced a smile."Why do you look like that? Aren't you happy about it?" Her eyes narrowed as they bored into mine, and I chuckled dryly."Of course, mom. I mean... I'm happy for you." I replied to her, biting into my lip."Ronnie... does he know about the baby yet?" I asked."Hmm. I told him about it. He promised to celebrate the baby as soon as he gets back from his business trip." She nodded with a smile, and I felt a sting in my heart. He knew about her pregnancy and still went ahead to cheat on her? While my mom was here, struggling alone, he was in the arms of
Chapter 67Derek Woods 'Hey, Mom. I'm on my way'I dropped a text for mom as I strode to the parking lot."Excuse me, Sir." I was just about to hop inside the car when Rob called my attention as he walked over to me."Sir, Mr. Woods asked to remind you about your dinner today at his villa." "Tell him that I'm not interested." I dismissed him and hopped inside the car.My dad wanted us to have dinner together, but his face was the last thing I wanted to see. I didn't want something that'd ruin this happy moment for me.I arrived at mom's apartment in less than forty minutes' drive."Darling." Mom was already waiting in front of the door by the time I pulled over at the parking lot. She walked down to me."You are so late. Don't you know it's dangerous out there at this time?" She hugged me briefly."I'm sorry, mom. I had something to take care of. Shall we?" "Sure, darling."She led the way while I trailed behind her."The banana bread is so delicious. I bet you are going to love it
Chapter 66Scarlet Wolff I rolled on the bed for the umpteenth time before sitting up, running my fingers through my hair frustratingly.I have been indoor ever since I got back from school. Just lying on bed, staring at the ceiling and wallowing in thought.I lazily reached for my phone, and a gasp tore through my throat when I saw what time it was. 19:30.My stomach grumbled at that moment, reminding me that I hadn't eaten yet, so I got out of bed and dashed out of my room.My heart skipped a beat the moment I walked inside the kitchen and found Lucien cooking."Hey!" He looked back at me over his shoulder, a small smile playing on his lips."Hmm." I just hummed, swallowing nothing."Do you need anything?" He turned to face me, his eyes boring into mine.My eyes darted to the oven, and back at him."Oh... I'm baking waffles. I figured you haven't had dinner yet, so I thought you would like it." He explained, smiling at me."Alright." I replied to him casually, and turned to get jui
