Chapter 1

Scarlett Wolff

"I'm sorry we are just telling you about this now, honey. Your mom and I urgently need to be away for a few months..."

I could barely handle the betrayal that hit me hard when my dad suddenly told me about his traveling last night, but just before I could react, he said something else to me. Something that melted all my anger away.

"You don't have to be worried about being alone. I already talked to my friend, Lucien, and he is coming to pick you up to go stay with him for the time that I'll be away."

'Lucien!' That name rang a bell in my ear.

My eyes had snapped open the moment I heard that beautiful name. I could still remember the excitement that sparked through my stomach. The butterflies flying in my stomach just at the thought of moving in with him.

My dream was finally coming true...

*****

It all started five years ago on my twentieth birthday when I set my eyes on this greek demigod for the first time in my life. Although I've seen his old pictures he took with my dad, but fuck! I couldn't stop the wetness underneath my pants and the hotness that spread through my body when I saw him in person for the first time. The desire and need I felt then, the urge to be taken by this man right there even though I knew it was wrong, would forever be etched in my memories.

I've craved him for years. Enduring every torture that came with it. Even on days that I would be so horny, getting laid by another man had never crossed my mind. It had to be him or no other man. It had to be Lucien Alessandro. My father's best friend. I could never imagine being with any other man that was not him.

It has been five years already, but every moment spent with him on my birthday, his smiles, his sexy voice, his handsome face. The hot body that laid underneath his clothes. Everything about him was still etched in my memory. Something I haven't been able to let go of over the years as I look forward to seeing him again.

I felt a tingling feeling in my stomach, a warm feeling spreading across my body as I sat nervously on my bed with my neatly packed suitcase beside me, waiting for my Mr. Perfect to come get me.

I jumped with speed and picked up my phone when it beeped, my heart beating fast when I saw the text from Mr. Lucien.

'I'm here'

"He's here! He's finally here!" I whispered nervously, going to check myself one more time in the mirror. I've always been confident about my looks knowing that I'm one hella beautiful young lady, but I suddenly lost my confidence. It felt like I wasn't good looking enough for him.

'You look beautiful, especially with that hairstyle, Scarlett'

My hands trembled as I carefully packed my blond hair up in a ponytail as his compliment from ears ago clawed back into my mind. I guess he likes my hair more in a ponytail.

My heart pounded hard in my chest as I hauled my suitcase down the staircase, almost losing my balance as my legs were too weak to carry me.

I took a deep breath, adjusting my crop top before pulling the door open, and as I spotted him leaning against his car which was parked right at the garage, I felt something jolt inside me.

Just like five years ago, he was still looking the same. He didn't age a bit.

His lips curled up in a smile, revealing his set of beautiful dentition as I approached him, my heart beating loud and clear that I could hear it in my ears. I halted in front of him, my fingers curled tightly around the handle.

"H...hi!" My voice came out nervously as I looked up at his face to admire him. His face was still the same as when I last saw him. Oval-shaped face, sharp jawline, nubian-shaped nose, flawlessly smooth tanned skin, neatly trimmed full beards. His chin length silky black hair was brushed backwards with just a few strands on his forhead.

My heart melted in my chest as I stared into his piercing brown eyes. Those eyes that always had me wet in between my legs. I swallowed a breath as my eyes shifted to his broad chest, lying underneath his black cotton shirt, almost hugging his body in all the places that I loved.

"Scarlett..." My heart missed a beat when he tapped me on the shoulder gently, bringing me out of my trance, and it was then I realised he was already holding the car door open for me.

"Oh... sorry," I muttered, bowing slightly.

"Let me help you with that," his deep baritone voice melted my heart as he took my suitcase from me. I hopped in the front seat and waited for him to come join me.

Shortly after, he hopped on the driver's seat beside me, and started the car.

"Your seatbelt," I was lost staring at him until he spoke up, and I turned my face away, embarrassed.

The ride to his house began.

I pressed my thighs together, biting my lip, trying hard to suppress a moan. I could bet my life that my pussy was already slimy. My heart quickened, and I felt my core tighten with a need I couldn't deny. I wanted him, I couldn't deny it.

'Get it together, Scarlett. Pull yourself together'

I fought the urge to slide my hand inside my trouser to touch myself, the only thing I could do was move uncomfortably on the seat, holding my breath as I felt a soft flush creeping over my body.

"We are here," I had no idea how long we'd been on the road as I was in my world of fantasy, but his deep voice disrupted me, bringing me back to reality, causing me to let out a sigh. A sigh of relief.

I noticed that he was already parked at the parking lot.

He looked at me with concern, his eyebrows squinted as he asked. "Are you alright, Scarlett? You are sweating,"

I barely heard every other thing he said except my name. The way he called my name was so sweet. So sweet that I found myself imagining how it'll sound moaning it while he fucks the decency out of me. That is if I still had any at this point.

"Hmm. I'm fine," I managed to nod my head, breathing heavily but lowly.

"Oh... we are here..." I muttered, looking out of the window and gently doing away with the seatbelt before alighting from the car.

The garage had about five cars, all looking shiny and expensive.

My jaw dropped to the ground when I saw the elegant mansion in front of me.

"This way," he led the way to the grand entrance with double doors, pushing it open once we got to it, revealing a long hallway leading to God knows where.

I trailed behind him as he walked elegantly in front of me, and we were soon welcomed into the spacious well furnished living room which had my mouth agape.

He paused and turned to me with a big smile on his face as he said, "Welcome to my home, Scarlett. Feel at home." He flashed a smile at me

"Thank you, Sir," I returned the smile

My parents have given me an opportunity, now watch me use it well...

Chapter 51 Derek Woods I kept glancing at Mr. Ronnie as we eat, but the whole time, his attention was on my mom, whispering to each other and smiling like the loving couples I wasn't convinced they were. Maybe I was just desperate for what was missing, but something really was. "I'm sorry, darling. Ronnie always has this habit of-" "It's fine, mom." I cut her off politely, smiling at her. "So, darling... how have you been?" she asked after drinking some water. "Hmm. I've been good." I nodded. "I'm sorry I haven't been there, darling. You know how-" "You don't have to apologise, mom. I'm not mad at you." I shook my head, and she smiled, nodding her head. "Thank you." "Your mom didn't lie about you being a considerate person. You are a good boy." Mr. Ronnie spoke, getting my attention, but I only smiled at him. Silence assumed the atmosphere for a moment. Only the sound of cutleries dominated the dining room. "So, Mr. Ronnie..." I broke the silence, lifting my gaze to him,

Chapter 50 Derek Woods 'I'm here, mom'. I sent mom a text once I arrived at the address she sent to me. I thought she was lodged at the hotel, but it was a mansion instead. A personal one. Perhaps she purchased a house to make herself comfortable. I waited for only two minutes before the beautiful wooden door opened, and a smile spread across my lips as I spotted mom walking toward the gate. She was still the same beautiful woman ever. Tall, slim, pale skin, lengthy brown hair, and the most beautiful body shape. As she approached me, I noticed the beautiful smile on her oval-shaped face. Her gorgeous almond eyes pierced at me. "My darling..." she whined, coming to throw her arms around my neck, pulling me in for a hug, and I chuckled as I hugged her back. It felt good and warm being in her arms, and I loved it. "I've missed you so much, darling." She pouted her lips once she pulled away from me, her eyes boring into mine. "I've missed you too, mom." I leaned in and kissed he

Chapter 49 Scarlett Wolff 'Sorry, I'm a bit busy now' My heart ached as I watched Lucien walk away. One minute, he was all over me like I was the only thing that mattered to him, and the next, he treated me like I was a plague. Am I that cheap to him? "Ugh! That..." My voice trailed off, biting into my lip as my gaze dropped to my body. I had ordered this dress, hoping he would like it, but I ended up getting dismissed Instead. I brushed all my thoughts away and headed to my room, throwing myself on my bed as soon as I walked inside. I made dinner, hoping we would eat together, but I lost my appetite after what happened. An hour later, and I was still tossing restlessly on the bed, unable to sleep no matter how hard I tried to force it. His image wouldn't stop popping up in my head each time I closed my eyes to sleep. It felt as though he was haunting me. My attention was drawn by the sound of the door opening outside, so I rose from my bed, rolling my eyes, knowing that it was

Chapter 48 Lucien Alessandro ''Everything has been moved to the warehouse, boss' A smile spread across my lips while reading the text Vladimir had just sent to me a couple of seconds ago. 'I'll be there shortly. Wait for me along with the boys' I replied to his text. I was getting ready to leave the office when a knock sounded on the door, and I ushered in whoever was there. It was Liam. My secretary. "Yes, Liam?" I barely spared him a glance as I was busy switching off my desktop. "There is an encrypted email for you, Sir. I already forwarded it to you via email. Also, the proposal for Mr. Grants has been concluded," I raised my gaze to meet his head sitting on his 6'3ft height. His blue eyes were looking straight at me, but he lowered them the moment I made eye contact with him. "Send the proposal to the Grants corp and let me know their reply later. As for the email, I will check it later," I told him, and he bowed slightly before turning to leave. "Liam..." He paused

Chapter 47 Derek Woods "It's the class president," "Derek is here," My classmates were quick to announce my presence as I made my way into the meeting hall where almost all my classmates were already waiting. My eyes dropped on Scarlet, and I almost smiled when I saw her standing out perfectly in the crowd. How she was always able to melt my heart in a way that no woman could ever did, was something I couldn't still wrap my head around. Perhaps, she was just a special being. I made my way to the front of the hall, the noise slowly faded as I stood behind the podium until a loud silence took over. Even the sound of a pin drop would be heard at that moment. "Uh..." I began, taking a short deep breath. I wasn't cut out for this, but what could I do when I had to address the happenings? Damn the school rector for putting me up to this. I wouldn't be here if he hadn't asked me to. 'The school is already in chaos, Derek. The least you could do is to address this whole mess. Beside

Chapter 46 Derek Woods 'Let's be friends' My heart ached as those words kept repeating in my head. What was she trying to say? That I wasn't good enough for a relationship? I wasn't her type of man? Who was then? That old man? She's going to regret this. The fading reverberating laughter on the rooftop brushed my ears as I took the stairs up, but was welcomed by Alexa standing close to the rail with her phone pressed to her ear with her right hand, and her left hand holding the rail. "That's sweet. I love you too," I watched as she concluded her call. She flinched when she turned and found me standing with my hands tucked inside my pockets. "Derek?" She pulled a surprised face, and I finally walked up to her. "Have you been standing there?" She raised her eyebrows, and I scoffed silently. Bitch! I wasn't eavesdropping on your conversation. I put on a smile, shaking my head and said. "I just got here. I only heard 'that's sweet. I love you'," She breathed out, relief creepin
