Chapter Twenty-Six

My hearing was the first of my senses to return to me. I then felt the heaviness of my muscles and bones. Even shifting where I lay was an agonising task. I opened my eyes slowly to gain a sense of my surroundings and I sighed once I realised where I was but that's not what shocked me.

My eyes widened when I saw him and my heartbeat accelerated. I felt a rush of energy wash over me and felt revived like a newly baptised believer of religion.

"Ren-eleeza, Ren-eleeza," Nurse Clairynymph crossed her arms and shook her head slowly.

"I'm flattered that you seem to enjoy my company so much but this is your second time here this week for the same reason. You cannot over exert yourself when it comes to your magic Ren. I might not be a Witch but I can tell you that permenant damage can ensue and you may never be able to use your magic the same," I heard every one of Nurse Clairnymph's words but my focus was on Dean.
