Ch.51 - "He's dead"

It was all like a dream. My mum would not wake up.

I felt scared. So, scared that I’ve lost another parent again.

“Mum? Please wake up. Don’t leave me, mum, stay with me, please, please,”

I cried out desperately, hitting her face with my hands. I suddenly heard footsteps thud towards me.

“Luna!” A voice said. I could tell who was the owner of the voice from where I laid. It was Jacob and he was running towards my direction.

“J-Jacob?” I called out.

“Yes, Luna?” he replied.

“I-I thought you were dead. I’m sorry but it just seemed like it,” I said sincerely.

“I know, Luna. Giovanni knocked me out. It seemed like he wanted to get to you so quick for him to do that. Anyway, let’s call 911. Your mum definitely needs medical attention.” he said.

“Yeah, right. Please do it as soon as possible! I really don’t want to lose her. She means a lot to me and my brother.” I voiced out rapidly, in hurt.

I watched as he dialed the number, with shaky hands.
