Skyla's Move

"What's wrong in what I am doing, my love? Just tell me! Why can't I get close to you? Tell me, honey…" Lucas said, exhaling a long breath of helplessness. His tone was sinking and so was his energy. Skyla tried to muster some courage to have his face resting over her shoulder blade.

Lucas' hefty body was so heavy for Skyla to lift. Her heart hurt when she heard Lucas, Lycan Lucas speaking in such a broken voice. She felt an endless girth of helplessness in his tone. His hot breaths that he was holding in for a long time was finally exhaled in great lengths over Skyla's shoulder blade that caused Skyla to witness an adrenaline rush.

Skyla could feel him losing energy to hold on to his weight and he was sending the entire weight to his forehead resting on Skyla's shoulder blade. She turned her face to her side and her eyes shot low to have a glance at Lucas' face.

She had her eyebrows jutting together out of worry. She thought, "Can this really happen? Is he really the Lycan Lucas?
