I never understood what pain and jealousy meant until today. Today was the very first time I was having this feeling as I paced around the house searching for Audrey.

I've never felt this kind of pain before. Red had been down the entire time and I knew it was because of our mate. I could feel her in the presence of someone else, but because my mind wasn't settled, I couldn't inhale her scent or find where she was.

I waited for her, hoping she would come back soon. It was all I could do after all- to hurt her. Thinking of the fact that she might be with another man out there was making me furious. Audrey would surely attract the eyes of many people out there.

I sat down on the couch.

Seth walked in. He was my beta and my most trusted ally.

"You don't look so good."

I ignored him at first, but later gave him the attention he was asking for.

"Where's Audrey? Did anyone see her leave?"

"Not me? I don't know about anyone else."
