Chapter 91

AUDREY:

The shifting process was way easier than I thought. All I just had to do was listen to Zale and think about the baby. I did it. I changed the color of my eyes back to normal without even shifting on a full moon..

I wasn't ready to hurt my precious baby for a second time.

Once it was all done, Zale hugged me tight

"I'm fucking proud of you, Audrey. I am."

He was nearly in tears as he spoke. Even I too was proud of myself. I couldn't believe I could do this. I didn't feel any pain and I was certain that my baby was fine..

A few minutes later, the doctor stepped in. "How do you feel?"

"I feel wonderful." I replied.

"I'll give you a quick checkup to see if there's anything wrong." I laid down on the bed with Zale still holding my hands. He was going to stay beside me.

After the checkup, the doctor smiled at me. "you did well. I must say, I'm so impressed. I've never seen a fighter this strong willed before."

"Thank you so much doctor."

He nodded and began packing all of his thing
