Oliver’s POV

Watching the woman with the man that installed the sign talk made me jealous for some reason. The way he flirted with her was something that made me want to go over and tell him to back off, thankfully he didn’t say around. After she left, I was able to concentrate again; Jack and Ryan will be coming later tonight to figure out where she at least lived and her routine.

“I still think it’s not a good idea to stalk the human,” Micah said walking over to me.

“Well good thing you’re not the Alpha,” I said without looking at him. “I have a feeling about her, something unexplainable, and until I figure it out she needs to be protected,” I said looking at him. “If I feel you are going to be the one stalking her, you are not to question it.”

Micah crossed his arms, he hated when I talked down to him, but when I’m in a mood he knew not to bother with me, but somehow he was missing that I was in that mood. “You’d put me on babysitting duty?” he said cocking an eyebrow.

“If you keep complaining about it yeah I will. I’ll even make you buy things for her and deliver them to her.” I said as my jaw tightened I couldn’t wait until the boys were there, it would make me feel better knowing at least where she lived and that she was protected at least from our point. I didn’t like this odd feeling in the pit of my stomach about her, it was something I couldn’t explain.

“I’ve never seen you act this way, Oliver. What gives?” he said crossing his arms.

“I didn’t like how Marks looked at her, I have a feeling he is going to try something with her. My wolf is even acting weird.” I said looking at him, we both know not to question our wolves, usually they were right when they were aware of something off. Drew was acting all weird as soon as I laid eyes on her. We didn’t have to smell her to know something about her was special.

“You know I am going to go over there and see what she is about,” Micah said looking out the window. “Do we know when she is going to open the store?”

“No,” I said looking back out the window, she was back now. I smiled. “Soon I am sure; you can see she is excited. Could be tomorrow the next day, she is almost done. Looks like she is putting on the final touches to the store.”

“Good I need to settle whatever you are feeling because you are not acting like an Alpha, you are acting like a pup.” He sneers. “But if something happens we’ll at least be prepared. The boys will be here in an hour.” He said before walking away.

As the night wore on, customers died down. Jake and Ryan came and found me standing by the window.

“We’re here Alpha,” Jake said bowing.

“The girl across the street, the two of you need to figure out her routine, find out where she lives,” I said looking at him. “The vampires are interested in her and we will figure out why later.”

“Or so Oliver thinks,” Micah said leaning against the counter. “But ensure she doesn’t know you are following her, humans tend to get scared. To hide in the shadows. Ensure she is safe, at least until Oliver is over her.”

“May I speak freely?” Ryan asked.

“You may,” Oliver said looking away.

“Is, is she your mate?” he said taking in a deep breath. The warriors knew not to question me, but it was a valid question. It was something I couldn’t ignore, but it was a question I didn’t have an answer to anyways.

Oliver didn’t answer him right away, his wolf was going crazy. Something inside him wished she was but he couldn’t answer that. “No,” he said looking at him. “But there is something.” He said looking back out the window, his jaw tightened. “Marks.” A growled escaped him.

Everyone looked out the window. “You see now the vampire is interested, you two head out the back shift and follow her,” I said without looking at them.

It took everything I had to keep my feet planted there, otherwise, I would have shifted and attacked Marks and hopefully killed him. I wanted to know what he was talking to her about, what he was telling her. I wanted to know what he was showing her. This was pissing me off, I was seething in anger.

“Calm down Oliver, you cannot control your wolf when you are angry,” Micah said putting his hand on my shoulder. “We will know what he is talking to her about don’t worry, it is good you sent Jake and Ryan they will protect her, and if you are worried I can go too.”

“No, I need you to keep tabs on the vampires,” I said looking at him. “As much as I want you to run over there and tell her to come and talk to us, we cannot do that. We will figure a plan of action, but right now we should close up.” I said glancing at him. “Come Marks is watching,” I said walking away from the window.

We needed to close the coffee shop up, tonight we would get a plan in place and things would be fine. I wasn’t sure what Marks had planned, but whatever it was he was going to use us against her and that is where we had to come up first.

I left Micah to drive the SUV; I wasn’t in the mood to drive which was fine. My mind was on her face, she looked a little scared of Marks and a little pissed off. I wondered if he was feeding her some kind of lie about our store since he glanced over at our store and smiled. She didn’t look at anything but him and whatever he handed her.

“Don’t worry Oliver we’ll figure this out,” Micah said as we pulled into the pack territory.

I didn’t say anything, he wasn’t going to leave this alone, and maybe he felt the same about her that I did now that he saw Marks with the girl. Maybe I was overthinking this and Zack and Ryan will come back and tell me I was crazy.

“They made it back to her apartment,” Micah said looking at me. “Marks went back to his lair. Zach said.”

We walked to my office, I was still nervous as hell and wanted to take Drew out for a run, but it would have to wait at least for a little bit. I have some thinking to do, and had to get a plan in place. “Good. I still want to know what the hell that vampire wants, I know he wants something.” I said sitting in my chair. “I need to talk to her.”

“Good, finally some peace of mind.” Micah taunted. “When tomorrow?”

“No,” I growled. “I need to figure out Marks moves first, I don’t want to put us out there if we don’t need to be out there,” I said leaning back in my chair. “Why would the vampires be interested in her in the first place?”

“She’s a human, someone new to the town. No one knows her, so no one would report her missing right?” Micah said rolling his eyes. “You need to get laid really, or find your mate something.” He said throwing his hands in the air. “I’m going to find my mate, I need a good massage.” He said leaving my office.

“So anything else you find out on the vampire?” I linked to Zach.

“No they all have scattered. I don’t think Marks knows where the girl lives, he is a cop so I am sure he will find out where she lives.”

“Keep tabs on him; I want to know where he goes.”

“Are you sure there is something to worry about with this Alpha?”

“I don’t know, Micah is going to her shop tomorrow and talk to her and see if he can gain information and we’ll go from there,” I said looking down at the papers on my desk. I knew what I was doing was crazy; maybe I should talk to her and call this whole thing off. I mean I am a stalker, right?

“She made it home safe, the girl is beautiful,” Ryan said linking me. “She has a different smell, doesn’t smell wolf, but doesn’t smell human only.”

           “Really?” I asked.

“Yeah not sure how to explain, you will have to smell her when you meet you, she is interesting, looks like she lives alone.” He linked. “I will keep watch doesn’t look like vampires are around, if they are they are silent.”

“Come back here, they won’t bother in her room, they have to be invited. You’ll leave early in the morning to ensure she makes it to her store safely.”

           “Understood.”

Soma’s POVFollowing Oliver to his office, I was a little nervous to speak to my father. Since I hadn’t heard his voice, it was going to be weird, but I knew we needed to speak. I was excited to invite him over to New York so he could see me become Luna. I wasn’t sure if he would have some kind of expectation about me being a Princess and if I would become Queen in the future. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to be but if it came down to it I would.“Hey, Nathaniel,” Oliver said into the phone. “I apologize for not calling sooner, with everything happening quickly I kind of lost track of time.” He said looking at her. “Soma would like to talk to you, she wants to tell you something important.” He said before handing the phone to me.“Hey, dad.”“It’s good to hear your voice, how are you feeling?” he asked.“I am better still a little weak, and I haven’t heard my wolf so I don’t know why she has still locked away,” I said with a sad tone.“Well, she will come when the time is right.” He as

Oliver’s POVWatching Soma take her store apart was painful for me too, I could see that she didn’t want to do this but she was forcing herself to do it. I wanted to stop her and tell her we should come back another day when she was ready, but I knew she was stubborn and wouldn’t let me pull her away from something she was already doing. The only thing I could do is support her and do what she needed me to do.Her spirits picked up when I told her I wanted to sell her tea at my shop. I knew it would give her something to do when she wanted to come back to the human world. I was glad Micah made friends with the owner because he did give us a break because of what happened to Soma. I knew things would be better for Soma once this was done.“I am going to start taking boxes over, I’ve called Micah to come and stay here and help with the rest of the stuff,” I spoke.“Okay, this is almost it.” She said putting the rest of the shelve she was working on in a box. “Can you see if there are an

Soma’s POVWatching Oliver freak out until I was done with my coffee and cookies was entertaining but now, I was faced with my store and my decision. I sighed getting Oliver’s attention, I knew he was going to ask me the same questions he did last night and I just had to be firm with my answers. As much as I didn’t want to give up my dream, it was the only way I knew how to let go of my past and the hurt that I faced. My adopted parents abandoned me because of this store, and that hurt almost as much as what Detective Marks had done to me. I knew they were different pains but they still hurt no matter what.“I think I am ready to go over there,” I said looking across the street.“Alright.” He said getting up. “Micah we’re going across the street, if you need something mind link me.”“Yeah, yeah.” He said waving his hand at us. He was still grossed out by the gum thing and probably annoyed because he was picking it by hand and it was fun watching his face. But we needed to get things d

Soma’s POVOpening my eyes to Oliver coming back into the room, I yawned and stretched and smiled when he sat down.“Where did you go?” I asked.“I had to talk to Micah about our plans for today.” He smiled. “You should go back to sleep; you’ve only been sleeping for a few hours.”“I know, but I want to get this over and done with and then we could come back here and I could relax a little by the lake.”“Sun bathing is always nice, just don’t do it naked.” He warned playfully.“I don’t do that!” I snapped at him; I knew he would love to watch me lay out naked but I was still shy about my body.Going to the tea store was going to be depressing, my whole dream was out the window and there wasn’t anything I could do about it. I didn’t want to shut down, but I knew it was for the best. I didn’t want Oliver stressing about me being over here alone, and honestly, I didn’t know if I could handle all the stress that came with running the store again. I knew Nick would want to come and help if

  • Lycan Princess Fated Luna   Chapter 121

Oliver’s POVFinding out Soma woke up, part of me didn’t want to believe it because when I left her a little while ago, she didn’t seem like she wanted to wake up. I ran as fast as I could up the stairs, she was standing there with the two warriors I assigned to guard my door. My heart went into my throat, was I seeing a ghost? Was she really there? Am I going crazy? All those questions went through my head, but as soon as I touched her everything made sense, and she was awake! Remembering when she first woke up was a fresh reminder that the Moon Goddess was good and she was looking out for us, she loved me and I shouldn’t have doubted it.Watching her eat was funny, it’s like she forgot how to eat or she was overly hungry and wanting to eat as much as she could before someone took her plate away. I knew she was battling the demons inside her and there was nothing I couldn’t do about it. I was a little sad that she wanted to close her store, but I knew it was for the best. She needed

  • Lycan Princess Fated Luna   Chapter 120

Soma’s POVI walked around the house and the yard, and I explored the shop. Oliver watched me curiously, I think he was hoping I would say something but I didn’t know what to say. He has done so much for me, I don’t even know where to begin. Finally turning to face him. “I think I want to close the tea shop, I don’t think it’s for me anymore.” I frowned. “I mean I loved my dream, but I feel like we have something bigger planned for us, and I am ready to take that step.”“Are you sure that is something you want to do?” he asked coming closer to me. “We can keep the store open, I can even send some help for you so you are not alone.”“No,” I said shaking my head. “If I don’t close the store I will regret it, and I want to be closer to home I know you want me here too.”“Well yeah of course I do, but I don’t want you to feel like you are a prisoner here because you don’t feel like you’ll be safe. We’re always going to make sure no one can hurt you, and this time I am not going to be hesi
