She showed them the paper bags that contained the fresh edible ingredients prepared to eat directly, and she smirked.

Ashley had no words to say after seeing that smirk on her face.

“You should be careful of a certain someone,” Edmund uttered those words while his eyes lingered on Faiz. He then slowly walked into the room as Ashley took the bag, and both girls followed him.

They spent, like, half an hour after that in the hotel and then checked out. Their next destination was, of course, the warehouse, where those nine monsters were chained inside. After discussing with the owner of the warehouse, four of them went in.

All nine of them were struggling, but when they saw Edmund coming, all of them went silent and sat there like dead rats. Amelia was satisfied with their condition; if anything, she would be happier to see them rot and die.
