Chapter 25

Steve's POV

It's night time already and they are not back yet. Everyone else does not seem worried but I've been more than worried since they left. Something doesn't look right. 

"Mom, when did they say they'll be back?" I asked.  "They went back to their main villa and Megan said they might not be back anytime soon." Mom explained.  "This is the umpteenth time you've asked." Jessie pointed out the obvious.  "It's true, son" dad also chipped in. I glared at Jessie but she shrugged. 

"I'll give them a call." I said as I turned to go back to my room. When I got to the room, I picked up my phone and I called Melanie but the line was unreachable. I called Mrs Spears as well. It was the same thing. I paced up and down the room with my phone in my hand. Suddenly an unknown number called. I picked up the call hesitantly. I waited for the caller to speak up. Two minutes later, the caller still didn't say a word.
