Chapter 34

Melanie's POV

"Stop! I'll do it" I said as I controlled my anger. I was already pissed off at what she was doing. I stood up and walked over to Steve. 

I bent down slightly and removed nothing from his hair 'cause it turned out to be a lie she made up to get close to Steve. Nevertheless, I rubbed my palm on his head and straightened some part of his hair. After that, I gave him a light kiss on his cheek and I went back to my seat. 

"Thanks dear" Steve smiled and winked. I guess he knew what Clara was trying to do. I glanced at clara and saw the awkward look she gave me. She later avoided my gaze and started to dig into her meal - what she should have done earlier. 

I knew I had that victorious look on my face as I finished my food. The bell was rung immediately I finished my meal. Perfect timing! I stood up and after doing the necessary things, I was on my way out of the cafeteria with Steve, Janet and Clara behind me.&nbs
