Joseph spent all day thinking about what Alessandra had told her, everything now made more sense to him than before.

"You're so dumb, Joseph."He couldn't stop scolding himself for what seemed like a hundredth time.

He raised his head and looked at the sky as she admired the sun setting in the west, painting the sky orange, a beautiful colour.

The setting of the sun reminded him that it was time to go back home because his patrol duty as a border soldier was over. Joseph closed his eyes and a deep sigh escaped from his lips.

Even though he wanted to go back home so badly and talk to Hannah, he didn't know how to start a conversation. To make things more complicated, it was his first time falling for humans and it was overwhelming.

Heaving a deep sigh, Joseph decided to go home because there was nowhere else he would go. He wanted to see Hannah too and make things right with her. Joseph didn't like the silent treatment that she was giving him because it broke his heart.
