☆☆LILA☆☆

The Sage led me out through the doorway that opened into her garden.

The air was thick with the scent of soil and mint, warm and damp. Everywhere I looked, there were plants, the same ones I’d seen the first time I came here, but they looked even more beautiful. There were rows and rows of them, climbing, curling, and blooming in every shade of green. Some glowed faintly under their petals.

The Sage hummed quietly to herself as she brushed her fingers over the leaves. She plucked a few herbs, dropped them into a small bowl, and sat down on a stone bench.

I stood there awkwardly for a moment, watching her get completely lost in her plants. She looked peaceful, too peaceful for someone who held answers that could change my life

I shifted on my feet, chewing on the inside of my lip before finally asking “Is it true I have to marry Theo? Even when they say I’m supposed to be his… destruction?”

“The answer is yes,” the Sage said quietly. “You have to marry him.”

I froze. “Eve

☆☆LILA☆☆ I sat on the edge of the bed, thinking about Kai. Selene had caught him. She wasn’t suspecting it; she knew. If she knew, then Rowan would soon know too with time, unless Selene kept it a secret, which I certainly hoped she would. The door opened. I didn’t look up. I didn’t need to. I knew he was the one standing at the door. He closed it behind him, letting himself in. He stood at the doorway, just watching me. His presence made me uncomfortable. I exhaled slowly. “You can stop standing there,” I said flatly. “Say whatever you came to say and leave.” “I’m going to help you,” he said calmly. I frowned and finally looked at him in confusion. “Help me?” He met my eyes, his expression blank. “I’ll help you find your father’s killer.” For a moment, I didn’t understand what he was talking about. “That’s not funny.” He didn’t react. Something about his stillness irritated me. “You think this is a joke?” I asked. “Coming in here and saying that like you didn’t—” My voi

☆☆LILA☆☆Selene didn’t slow her pace as she led me through the apartment levels.“This whole building,” she said, gesturing vaguely around us, “is pack housing.”I looked around as we walked. Doors lined the corridors, each one different. Some were decorated with plants, others with symbols carved into the wood. As we passed, people moved in and out, laughing, talking, carrying groceries, and children running ahead of their parents. They looked… normal.“These are personal apartments,” Selene continued. “Everyone has their own space. Families live together. No crowded pack houses. No fighting over territory inside the home.”I frowned slightly. “So everyone lives here?”“The ones who want to,” she replied. “Some prefer to live outside. But this makes things easier.”I frowned slightly. “So the whole building under the penthouse is occupied by werewolves?”“Yes,” she replied. “Pack members, guards, staff. Some choose to live elsewhere, but most stay here, while my brother stays in the

☆☆LILA☆☆ We stopped in front of a heavy wooden door. The maid pushed it open and practically shoved me inside. I stumbled but didn’t fall down. The door slammed behind me, and I spun around just in time to hear the sharp click of the lock. “Hey!” I banged on the door. “Open this—!” No one answered I hit the door again, harder, my palms stinging. “You can’t do this!” I stepped back slowly, my chest rising and falling too fast. My hands were trembling now, the anger draining away, leaving fatigue behind I need to get out of this place. I turned, searching desperately for a way out—and only then did I really see the room. It was beautiful. Too beautiful to feel right. Luxury stretched in every direction, with expensive cream-coloured furniture, soft lighting, and wide windows. The room felt like it was designed for comfort, rather than to trap someone, but it still felt suffocating. I slid down the door, pressing my forehead against the cool wood, my thoughts spiralling i

Author’s Note: Hi guysss🤍 It’s been a while, sorry for the delay. School has been a lot lately I’m back now and I’ll try to upload as much as possible. Thank you for sticking with me. ☆☆LILA☆☆ We reached a back exit I had never seen before. I hadn’t realised there were so many guards in this place. The maid stepped in front of me, pulled a long strip of black fabric from her pocket, and before I could react, tied it around my eyes. “Hey—! Stop—I can’t—” “Don’t even think of removing it,” Rowan said beside me. His voice was harsh. Too harsh. I couldn’t tell if it was anger or something worse. A hand pressed against my shoulders, pushing me forward. I stumbled as I walked, gravel crunching beneath my feet. Cold air brushed my skin. A car door slammed shut. The engine started. The car moved. The silence inside it was unbearable. None of us spoke. Not me. Not the maid. Not Rowan. I sat there blind, gripping the seat, silently praying that wherever he was taking m

☆☆LILA☆☆ I didn’t sleep. Not because of the cold, or the IVF that was finally gone. But because I didn't have my sleeping pills with me. I contemplated asking Rowan for it but decided against it. My thoughts drifted back yesterday when he removed my IVF. The way he removed the needle carefully, it didn’t match the man who dragged me from my wedding. The next morning, the maid came again, she was silent as always. She placed the tray down and left, I looked up expecting to see Rowan standing by the door but there was no one there. The door was closed shut. For the first time in days, I was alone. Finally I walked to the door, pressing my ear against it. Nothing. No footsteps. No rustle of clothes. Everything was just quiet. I tested the knob. Locked. Of course. I ate slowly, staring at the empty corner where he usually stood. The more I looked at it, the more annoyed I became. What, now he was avoiding me? I pushed the tray away and paced around the room. I didn’t have mu

☆☆LILA☆☆The maid came in again, quiet as always. She set down the tray and left before I could even ask her what day it was.She gave me bread, meat, and soup. Normal. I sniffed it. Not poisoned. Not yet. But the spoon and fork were still plastic. I stared at them for a long second. Then sighed. They have just been repeating the same circle, feeding me, changing my drip and Rowan standing at the door making me uncomfortable half of the time.I looked at the fork. It was plastic but I can at least tryI waited until the footsteps outside faded away, then pulled the tray closer. If they were going to keep me here, then I’d at least try something. Anything.I picked up the fork, tested the edge. It was weak, bendable, but maybe enough. My left hand still had the drip stuck in it, so I dragged the stand along with me as I crossed to the door. The wheels squeaked across the floor. I tried to wedge the fork into the lock, twisting it just slightly. It didn’t move.I tried again, harder thi
