☆☆LILA’S POV ☆☆I woke up with the events of yesterday night still sitting heavily in the back of my mind. Even when we got back to the hotel, Rowan and I hadn't said a single word to each other. We had simply walked inside, gone our separate ways, and disappeared into our respective rooms. It was actually only the second time I had slept in my own room since we'd arrived in Italy. Last night, I had barely noticed where I was sleeping because I'd ended up in Rowan's room and now, after everything that happened, I was back here again staring at the ceiling and wondering how something between us had gone from surprisingly easy to so frustrating in the space of a few hours. Perhaps coming to Italy was a mistake but none of it was my fault.At least, that was what I kept telling myself. He was just being a jerk because he couldn't control whatever was going on in his head.
