CHAPTER 15

I was too shock that I could barely move or speak. It was no other person than Vivian who was tied up on the floor. Her mouth was taped so she couldn't talk. Her teary eyes widened when she saw me.

'What is going on? What is she doing here?' I asked dad.

'She's the surprise.' Dad said.

'You think I don't know that? Why is she here?' I asked again.

'She ruined your brother's life. She's the reason your brother is dead. She pulled the trigger on your brother so now I want you to avenge your brother's death.' He said placing a loaded gun on my hand.

My eyes widened in shock.

'What? I can't do that. I can't take a life that isn't mine' I said.

'She's the reason your brother is now six feet under. I'm sure he would want you to avenge his death.' He said.

'But she was already paying for her sins in prison. She was sentenced to life imprisonment, remember? Why would you kidnap her from prison when she was already paying for her crimes there?' I asked trying to reason with him.
