Monica's POV

I stared at him as he smiled happily.

'So how did it go? What did she say?' I asked him.

'What do you think?? She agreed as expected.' He said.

'I can't believe she would be that gullible.' I said.

'She's his mother. She would do anything for her son. Plus she isn't as smart as Damon or her father.' He said.

'Are you sure that she would agree to your conditions. What if she tries to outsmart you like Damon did the last time?' I asked worriedly.

'She won't because she would be the one at the losing end and she knows that. So she won't try anything stupid.' He said.

'Okay. If you say so. Have you seen a lady that looks like her? Her replacement?' I asked.

'Yes I have. If Coralline tries to pull a fast one on me, she would still lose. Her replacement would do all the work for me. Coralline has Damon wrapped up around her finger, so I'm sure that her replacement would be able to do the same.' He said.
