Monica's POV

I stared at her in suspicion while she looked serious. I checked to see if there's any ounce of lie in what she just told me but there wasn't.

She wasn't even smiling.

'Why are you lying?' I asked hoping she was just playing with me.

'Why eould I be lying about something as serious as that?' She asked back.

'But... but.... dad said that she slipped and fell down the stairs.' I said.

'Your father lied to you. He murdered your mother because she found out that he planned Coralline and Damon's parents death. She wanted to report him but he got to her first.' She explained.
