CHAPTER 37

Damon's POV

I followed the police as they entered the house. There was no sign of Jake or Monica. We searched everywhere but we couldn't find Sophie nor the antidote.

It seemed like they knew we were coming and escaped because their belongings are still here. I punched the wall angrily and grabbed my hair in frustration.

We are back to square one now and this time, it is worse because we've angered Jake. I better go back to the hospital now.

Only God knows what would happen to them if I'm not around.

I left the house, entered my car and zoomed off ignoring Silas who was calling after me.

I need to get to them fast.
