Meeting mr stranger again

The following morning.........

" Olivia .... I'm sorry ....I should have just listened to you ... I'm sorry " . Robert cried gently on his sick bed .

He didn't want to ride a bycicle but he eventually had to when his friends wouldn't stop calling him a "skirt ",he didn't like the fact that they thought his sister is the one telling him what to do and what not to do.

" It's fine ....stop crying and just focus your energy on getting better ". Olivia replied not sparing their mother a glance .

She just couldn't get rid of the feeling that their mother had sided with Robert too much and that has led him to disobeying her instructions .

At that moment she just hated her mother ..... perhaps she just needs someone to blame for being unlucky .

" Olivia ! Robert !" Matilda yelled rushing into the hospital ward sweating profusely .

She rushed to Robert's side on the bed .

" How's he ?" Matilda asked clearing the silence that has taken over between her and her friend .

" Doctor said he's out of danger......" Olivia replied .

" You know you don't have to walk me back ,I would have loved to stay but I really need to go ,my boss has been constantly calling me ...". 

For the very first time in Olivia's life she got jealous of Matilda ....her friend is living her dream life and it never affected her because she knew one day she was going to achieve her dreams but now that all her hope is lost she Just couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy hit her .

" It's fine....you should take a cab , that'll be faster ." Olivia replied faking a smile .

'' see you bestie !"Matilda smiled gently after pecking her friend .

Olivia decided to stroll just to clear her mind and gather herself back together ,how could she be this unlucky? Not once did anything go well for her ,not once did she feel God was on her side .

" Hey !" She heard people yell .

She stood frozen at a spot when she saw the full light of a car flashing at her ,with the car's horn blaring loudly .

How did she get to the middle of the road ? 

But isn't it just better to die ? At least that meant getting away from the troubles she's facing .

She closed her eyes hoping the car would just hit her and kill her instantly but once again she got unlucky ,even her wish to die wasn't granted as the car came to a stop right in front of her .

She heard people yelling and the next thing she knew tears started trickling down her face ,she started to cry not minding the people's attention .

Why is life toying with her ? 

" She must be really depressed !" 

" Oh my God I feel so sorry for her " 

She just stood there crying ignoring the people's comments .

She suddenly felt a hand around her arm and the person guided her into the car that almost hit her ,she sat down gently still crying not even minding whoever the stranger that helped her get away from people's stares was .

The car engine started and the driver drove away from the environment till they got to a place with no one in sight .

Christopher just stared at the lady he had asked to marry him few days ago .

The feisty lady that had gotten his attention and Interest is right beside him here crying after trying to kill herself .

It's not in his nature to be interested in others afterall he has enough problems himself but seeing this lady cry this much made me him curious and concerned . what could be wrong with her ?

He noticed she had stopped crying but she's having troubles raising her head because she's embarrassed and that made him chuckle.

He took his handkerchief and handed it to her .

" You can wipe your face with this " . 

Olivia shrieked with embarrassment ,what was she thinking crying in a stranger's car ? 

" Thank you " she replied taking the handkerchief without looking up .

She wiped her face while muttering curses at herself .

" Thank you for your help ,I really appreciate it " she said whith her head bowed as she stylishly tried opening the door .

" I didn't get your name the other day " christopher asked .

He can't risk getting mocked by David again.

Does he know me ? Olivia raised her head gently to see who the person was and she instantly regretted looking up .

The handsome stranger who proposed to her at the club ! How is she supposed to act around him ? 

" Olivia ... Olivia lane ..." She finally managed to reply biting her lips gently ,an habit she has whenever she is nervous.

" Have you thought about what I told you the other day ?" Christopher asked ,he really need to know whether his problem of finding a wife in a month has been solved or not .

Olivia shrieked with fear as the thought of this stranger being a stalker hit her .why is he asking me to marry him when I don't even know him ? She decided to continue the conversation while she plans an escape .

" Who are you ?" She managed to ask while holding onto the car's door if he tried anything funny with her .

" I thought I told you the other day .... I'm Christopher Andrews ,I know I sound frightening and strange ,but you have nothing to worry about ,i can't get into details ... I need to get married in few weeks or ...." . His voiced trailed off seeing how scared Olivia looked .

" or what ?" 

" Or I lose my family's inheritance....it's just for six months and after six months you get a huge amount of money while I get what I want ! Win win right ?".  

" Win win my foot ! You insane stalker !" . Olivia yelled and ran out of the car wondering how she came in contact with such a crazy person .

" I can't believe she called me an insane stalker !" Christopher fumed with anger pacing to and fro his office .

" I think I would call you that based on how you acted " David replied in between laughter .

Christopher glared at him and he just kept his mouth shut .

" Well progress has been made at least you got her name " David complemented still trying to stop himself from laughing .

Christopher smiled proudly ...

" How will getting her name solve anything ?" He asked still wondering why that was important to David .

" Hello ....you are the only grandson of a world renowned business man and the only heir to the Andrews holdings ... digging up a woman's information wouldn't be too hard you know ?" . David replied snapping his fingers at christopher who just muttered an "oh " he didn't really think towards that direction .

" I'll lose all of those connections if she doesn't agree ." Christopher said and David chuckled .

" Who knows you might actually find love in the next six months ." David said and Christopher just smirked at him .

He agrees to the fact that it is the first time after a long while that he'll get attracted and act out of character towards a woman but there's no way in hell that he will fall in love with a lady like Olivia ... Never!.
