Marriage proposal from a stranger

Olivia's phone started ringing and lifetime by Justin Bieber played .

She placed the food neatly in front of the customer

" Bon appetit !" .

She smiled at how better her french sounds .

Immediately she got back to her stand she removed her phone from her jeans back pocket and Smiled as her best friend's name " Tildaaa" with lots of love emojis displayed on her phone.

" Hey birthday girl how's your day going ?"  Olive chuckled at how excited her friend sounds on the phone .

It's my birthday not hers she thought .

" Okay yyy , I'm just at mum's eatery " .

" Are you ready for tonight?".

Her friend successfully lobbied her into accepting to go clubbing,her mum's approval came easily since she never asked to out at night before and after all she's 22 today.

" I am " . Olivia  replied

" I'll be at your house by 7 " .

Without waiting for her reply Matilda hung up .

Few hours later

" You look stunning bestie !". Matilda squeeked excitedly ,her friend would have made a great model if not for her height .

Olivia is not short but she's not just that height that models are meant to have .

Olivia blushed lightly at how beautiful she looked ,she wore the dress Matilda bought for her as a birthday present , a short sleeveless black gown with flowery patterns all over it , she wore her only heels that's almost worn out ,it was her 20th birthday gift from her mum and carried one of matilda's purse that's matching the nude colour heels she is wearing .

" Let's leave this place " .

The obviously irritated christopher stood up ,what was he thinking coming to a club party to look for a   wife ?

" Come on let's have fun for a while " . David who is busy enjoying himself pleaded .

Christopher rose up to leave ,there's no way he's going to stay in this insanely loud environment oozing with liquor smell for a while .

It's obvious he can't find what he's looking for here .

" Okay fine ! Let me just use the restroom then we can leave ".  David left the room and Christopher had to seat back down .

A girl whom he noticed had been staring at him walked to where he sat .

" Hey handsome ,do you mind if I keep your company ?" She asked .

Christopher muttered some curses at his friend before turning his attention back to the woman in front of him.

" Leave ...."  He replied coldly .

The girl got scared and walked away muttering inaudible curses at him .

He stood up to go look for David when he heard sounds coming from one of the restrooms .

He saw a lady being pinned against the wall by a guy  ,he shrugged and turned to leave but paused when he noticed the girl was protesting .

Christopher Andrews is known for minding his business but  for some unknown reasons he felt the urge to interfere . Before he could take a step he heard a deafening sound as the man landed on the floor with the girl punching and cursing him.

He looked at the scene amusedly ,how fierce and relentless the girl is made his insides do a twist.

" I think that's enough " christopher voiced out , something that is again not part of his attributes .

Olivia looked up to see who was interfering in her business ,she opened her mouth to curse but the words got stuck in her throat as she came face to face with a handsome man  with a kind of eyes she has never seen before .

"Is it possible for someone to be this handsome?"

The  guy that tried to harass her while she was using the restroom rushed up and ran out .

" Mind your business!" She finally brought herself to speak up although she sounded more calmer than she intended .

She dusted her gown and made to leave when her shoe heels broke and she turned to fall but was instantly caught by a broad but warm arms.

Christopher stared gently at the woman in his arms .

How can someone that feels this vulnerable be that fierce ?

Olivia quickly rushed out of his arms .

" Thank you " she replied embarrassed at the thought of having to remove her heels in front of this dangerously handsome man .

" My name is Christopher ,what's your name ?"

" If you are trying to hit on me just because you saved me from falling ,I'll advice you end that thought now " .

Christopher smiled at the attitude ,he finds her very interesting.

Girls are always attracted to him but the fact that this feisty lady in front of him doesn't give a hoot amused him.

" Well since we are on the subject ,will you like to marry me ? "

Olivia scoffed at the unknown man's proposal ,she decided he's probably drunk .

" Go home old man , you've had too much too drink " . She turned to leave but her hand was firmly gripped by him .

She tried to wriggle free but he wouldn't let her .

Christopher brought out his business card and placed it in her other free hand .

" If you decide to change your mind ......"  He let go of her hand and olivia walked away in disbelief .

Such a weirdo ,but a cute one she thought as she smiled to herself .

Christopher smiled ,he has found exactly what he's looking for ! .

He turned to leave when he heard moanings  ,what the heck is wrong with this people ?  He saw something that looked  like David's  shirt so he paused to look .

He found his friend making out with a girl ! .
