Just then, Isabella hurried into the place and the scene she arrived to sent shivers down her spine, “I’m so sorry, I will take her with me immediately.” She bowed countless times to Ethan and held unto Julia.

“I will escort outside,” Nathan, Ethan’s secretary came up to help Isabella, but he heard a slight cough behind him.

“Do you care more about another person’s boss than you care about your own boss?” Ethan’s question made him pause in his tracks as he could only look at Isabella with regret.

“Don’t worry, I will go by myself” Bella smiled forcefully and tried to support Julia properly, but then Augustine came over, “I will help you”

“Thank you” Bella muttered as they took Julia outside.

After they walked away, Nathan turned to look at his boss, “You know, you do not actually have to go that far. I was only trying to help my sister.”

“Let us go.” Ethan looked at his soiled clothes and did not care about Nathan’s word at all, he walked out as Nathan has no other option but to follow behind him.

After they got into the car, Nathan looked at the newly received text message, he looked hesitantly at Ethan wondering if he should deliver the news to him or just let it go.

“Why are you staring at me like that, is there any problem?” Ethan glanced at him lightly.

“The Chairman wants you to come back home for dinner today. It is a family get together and your stepbrother seems to have some news to share tonight” Nathan delivered the contents of the text message to Ethan.

“What is he planning to do this time?”

“There is one more thing at the end, the chairman is asking you to go for a blind date in two days’ time. And if you do not plan on going you might change your mind after tonight.”

“I have a bad feeling about this.” Ethan removed his glasses as he rubbed the corner of his eyes tiredly. The car drove off leaving the club.

They got to Whirlwind’s estate which is the location of the family mansion, “I will leave. I promised my sister that I will prepare dinner” Nathan said to Ethan as he got down from the car.

“Do whatever you want” Ethan nodded and made his way into the villa in front of him.

The butler saw him and immediately came out to greet him, “Young master, welcome back home.”

“Uh” Ethan just mumbled and made his way inside with the butler behind him, “Tell my father that I would wash up first before heading to the dinning room” He walked up the stairs without bothering to greet anyone at all.

Just as he got to his room, he pulled his shirts leaving his well-maintained abs with no eyes to feast on it, his eyes filled with disgust and anger, “Nothing good ever happens to me when I’m with her.” He scoffed and threw the shirt into the waste bin before heading into the bathroom.

He came out all freshened up and feeling much better than the shit he was feeling like about 30 minutes ago, changing to more comfortable clothes, he headed downstairs to join the family for dinner. Just as he walked over, they all turned to him, “You really took your time in trying to freshen up, thereby making everyone to wait for you.” Ken Blackwood, his younger stepbrother looked at him with a scornful smile.

“I never told you all to wait for me, is not my fault that I’m the main character even if I don’t want that.” Ethan ignored his little tantrums and sat down next to his father as the maids came to serve him immediately.

His eyes scanned through everyone, from his father to his grandfather who hasn’t said a word since he came, to Helene, his stepmother and to Ken, “So, why the sudden family meeting. I know that we are not that close to be eating together, we might end up getting indigestion because we are eating with those we do not like.” He took a bite from the steak savoring it tender and unique taste.

“Your brother is getting married in a month time, clear up your schedule on that day because you can’t miss it.” Just as Grandpa Blackwood announced the news, Ethan paused slightly and continued eating like he doesn’t care.

“Good for him, and bad for the bride.” Ethan blunted his words.

“Ethan, this is not the time for this!” His father hit him slightly.

“I am sure you all remember my words before. The first person to get married will get 20% of my shares.” Grandpa Blackwood reminded them once again, “It is obvious that Ken took my words seriously and actually decided to settle down unlike someone” Grandpa Blackwood glared at Ethan who continued eating as if what he just said has nothing to do with him.

“I really do love her that’s why I decided to settle down with her.” Ken smiled while also looking provocatively at Ethan who did not react to any of their words.

“Ethan, what about you? Do you have anybody that you like?” Helene turned to Ethan and asked.

“It is quite the opposite.” Ethan replied without looking up, “There is someone that I hate so much that the thought of her just gets me angry. Today she threw up on me, maybe that is why nothing good is happening today.” He dropped the fork and looked at Ken, “Congratulations. I Will ask my secretary to prepare your wedding gift” With that he made to leave.

“Ethan, Wait for me in my study!!” Grandpa Blackwood ordered sternly. Ethan nodded and continued walking upstairs.

It didn’t take long for Grandpa Blackwood and Mr. Blackwood to enter the study and sitting there was Ethan who waiting for them, without warning Grandpa Blackwood raised his stick and hit Ethan hardly causing him to spring up, “What was that for?” Ethan turned to look at them.

“Are you going to stay there and watch that boy take 20% of my share.” Grandpa’s nostrils flared up as he spoke.

“Dad don’t be angry.” Mr. Blackwood tried to calm him.

“Why are you blaming me? I already helped him get the company to a new height and even saved it from bankruptcy, Did I tell you to make a promise like that?!”

“I did it because of you. So, I can see my great grandchildren and my granddaughter in law before I die! But you decided to mess it up!” He raised the stick to hit Ethan again, but this Ethan dodged it.

“The girl you said you hate and that she threw up on you. I’m very sure you have feelings for her so bring her home.”

“Dad, that will not be possible. Ethan only hates one person in this world and that is Knight’s daughter. Bringing them together will only cause disaster.” Mr. Blackwood rejected the idea immediately.

“Grandpa, no one can take the company from me. And I am the President now so don’t worry about it.” Ethan tried to assure him.

Grandpa turned his anger to his son, “This is all your fault! If you did not sleep around then this wouldn’t be happening” He raised his stick and stamped it in the floor while breathing heavily, “And you,” He turned to Ethan, “YOU MUST GET MARRIED BEFORE HIM! I DON’T CARE HOW YOU DO IT”
