*NOT YOUR APPLE*Olivia went to sit on one of the sofas in the living room looking around as there was nothing to do. After a while, Derek arrived and they exchanged greetings. "Ready?" *LIBRARY ACCIDENT*Olivia stared at him blankly as she rubbed her stinging forehead. It wasn't until he folded his arms and raised an eyebrow at her that she realized he asked her a question. She wanted to reply him with 'what you do in a library' , after all it’s her father’s house but she also doesn’t want to learn how he deals with sarcasm. His outburst earlier was still fresh on her mind. "I was looking for a book." She answered. "What do you want to study in school?" He suddenly asked. "Computer." She answered confused as to what he wanted to do with the information. "So what were you doing in the crimes session? All the books in this area are based on that, I'm sure you can read." ‘So what if I wanted to study computer? That doesn't mean I can't read a book of my choice at any given time. *LIBRARY ACCIDENT*"I'm sorry about all this, sweetie." Mrs Carson said. "Don't be Mrs Carson. I feel like all this is my fault and my dad was so rude to you, I apologize on his behalf." Olivia told her. Mrs Carson was shocked at the girl’s politeness and respect. She was expecting a girl who was more like Ruby and Michelle when she heard that Peter was bringing in his daughter. However, what she expected wasn’t what happened at all. She snapped out of her shocked state and faced the house-helps behind her. "You two can go." She told them and they immediately disappeared. "I will personally cook for you, sweetie, so what do you wanna eat?" She asked Olivia. "Anything's fine." "Good enough. You can wait in your room, I'll bring it up for you when it's ready." "Can't I stay and help? Besides, I want to learn." Olivia pleaded with her. "You sure are different." Mrs Carson whispered. "As you wish, sweetie." She said to Olivia in a clearer voice. *COMPANY VISIT* Olivia woke up to the sound of her alarm which she had set to eight o'clock in the morning. She quickly got up and stretched to get the sleep out of her eyes. How she sleeps for longer hours baffles her, she was the type that would study till ten o'clock at night and still wake up by six and sometimes five o'clock in the morning. However, since she got here, it’s like she just developed some sleep superpowers. She went into her walk-in closet and looked through her few wears for a suitable cloth to wear to a company, she has never been to a mall not to talk of a huge company. Other than going to school, one other place she would be was home. In her spare time, she either read storybooks or watch TV. She picked out a white sleeveless crop top, a black jacket and a flared red skirt. She placed them on her bed and went to take her bath. *COMPANY VISIT*They got to a door which was opened by one of the guards as they got inside, it was an office and there was a man sitting on the chair in front of the large table. He immediately stood up from the chair walking towards them a bit before bowing. Olivia studied the man, he has a short stature and he’s a little bald. He wasn’t that fat but his belly made up for it. He looked like he was in his forties. “Good morning Sir.” The man greeted. “Olive, go sit over there for a while.” Peter said nodding towards a sofa at the corner of the office as he released Olivia’s hand. She nodded and did as told. The sofa faced them and she could see everything from her angle. She looked back at them and was glad no one was paying attention to her so she continued watching them. Peter moved forward and sat on the chair the man just got up from. The bodyguards stood by the door while the man moved to stand in front of Peter with the large table dividing them. *JACKET* “I would like to see you try.” Mason said to the guard who just spoke. ‘He’s really stupid if he thinks he can touch Peter's daughter and get away with it, I bet he doesn’t even know who she is.’ Mason said in his head. He came to see the new shipment of weapons as usual, he always came with Ace and Derek but the two chose to go see a movie with some girls they just met. He was surprised to see the security post empty when he got to the company and that’s why he was curious to know what’s happening not expecting to see Olivia kneeling beside a boy and a guard shouting at her. He frowned at the scene in distaste. “H-Hi Mr J-Jackson.” The first guard greeted shakily. “What’s happening here?” He questioned. “The boy was told to leave but he refused claiming he has to see Mr Summers. *JACKET* Talking about the Don, Mason had noticed that something was up with his dad and mom recently. They seem to be avoiding each other which had never happened before. Even though his dad was someone you could call ruthless, he cared about his wife a lot and will always avoid letting her know whenever he did something too extreme because he knew he would get scolded by his wife. His mom on the other hand is the complete opposite of her husband, she was the kindest woman you’ll ever come across.To this day, Mason still couldn’t understand how his mom came to love someone like his dad. Although she wasn’t pleased that Mason decided to follow in his father’s footsteps, she still understood that it was inevitable but she always tries to make sure he doesn’t end up being ruthless like his dad by her occasional pep talks, she had no idea he’s already past that line. *HIDDEN BAR* Olivia has been avoiding Mason’s gaze since they got out of her dad’s office. She was still very embarrassed of what had happened in her dad’s office. To Olivia, the jacket had an irresistible smell, the smell kind of matched Mason’s personality and she was drawn in. She was glad that her dad didn’t drag out the matter for too long.
