Elara

It had been days. Almost a week since Draven’s birthday. Since the kiss. And, days since he stood in front of me, holding that talisman I put my time, effort and creativity into with Astra helping me out with a protective spell.

The gift I gave Draven was a spelled talisman. It had taken a lot from me since it was done in a short period of time.

And he let me walk away like I meant nothing. So, I’d done exactly what I promised myself I would do.

I completely and utterly avoided him. I to

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Unraveling Control

DravenMy nose caught her scent before I saw her—hijacking my whole senses. It was like a siren’s call, that intoxicating blend of honey and lavender that was uniquely hers. My shoulders stilled as I raised my head and there she was—in a see-through black sheer mooncloth that wrapped around her like it had been placed there as a formality. For a moment, my mind couldn’t process what I was seeing…what she was wearing. The mooncloth traced her body, stopping short mid thigh with a very open slit at the right side revealing her perfect figure, her slim waist, and smooth flawless skin. Her black underwear on display, so was the top of her cleavage. My eyes dragged along her body, refusing to obey anything resembling being subtle. Her hair was in a messy bun as strands stuck to the back of her neck from the heat in the air. I looked at the line of her perfect collarbone, the way the fabric shifted with each step she took, outlining the curve of her waist, and sway of her hips. My eyes w

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Seen

Elara Zuri was really hot and the gold jewelry around her hands and neck highlighted her glassy golden eyes. Draven stepped into the spring without hesitation and other Alphas began. I spotted Mateo with Kyra in her pink fabric—she was beautiful but of course…I’d never tell her. My eyes moved to Draven as the water parted around his legs, rising slowly, his chest glistened and it was hard not to stare.I didn’t even try not to stare. I practically ogled him. Then, besides him, Zuri followed, her laugh light as he helped her in. His hands went around her back. My gaze fixed on them. I couldn’t take my eyes off.Zuri leaned into him closer than necessary, her hand grazing his arm as she settled in the water. My stomach turned.“You might burn a hole through them at this rate.”Aerin’s voice came from my side, smooth and edged with quiet amusement.I didn’t look away from them, “Do I not have the right to stare?” He stepped into my peripheral, his arms loosely folded. I see his gaze fl

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Moonspring Ritual

ElaraAerin was funny. I’ve never come across an Alpha who’s deeply worried about finding his mate but wants all the fun. While we waited for his Beta to get their bags, I noticed the Conclave became more busy. By midday, everywhere was livelier—music weaved through the air, laughter rose, and movement everywhere. “What’s happening?”“The Moonspring ritual,” Alpha Aerin said beside me, his voice light with familiarity. He’d done this a number of times…I’m sure. “It’s one of the highlights,” he continued. It was an event and apparently a ritual.I focused my attention at the center of the courtyard where the preparations were already underway. I saw a circular clearing had been opened, and in it glowed faintly with etched symbols that looked like they were pulsing under the sunlight.“What exactly is the ritual for and how does it work?”“Well, it is a sacred thermal spring where wolves “cleanse” before any proceedings,” he chuckled. “But, apparently every wolf here must partake, es

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Irrational

DravenThe moment her eyes flickered over my shoulders I assumed she'd seen someone. I turned around to find Aerin waving back at her. I stood for a moment where she left me and watched her walk happily towards him.Didn’t we just have a conversation now? I even thought I felt a thaw. It was like the conversation meant nothing to her. More like I meant nothing. My jaw tightened. I know I shouldn’t be angry. It was a stupid, pointless and childish argument, and yet my chest hadn’t settled down from the moment I saw her in all her morning glory as she walked up to me.There was this shift and my heart thudded loudly in my chest as she spoke to me. And I didn’t like it. I didn’t like the way my focus narrowed in on only her, how everything else blurred, how I paid attention to her face, her expressions and how I fought so hard not to laugh when we were arguing. I just wanted her to stay there and talk to me all day long. When Elara’s around me I found myself holding back, fighting som

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Day One Of The Conclave

ElaraEverything about the Moonlight pack was intentional. I liked it. Soft breezes carried a floral scent here. And they were suited to host a conclave. I slept well—almost though. Anton helped shift my mind away from Draven and the rest. This morning felt nice and the rooms were breathtaking. When I went last night to see what the Alphas' suite looked like Kyra almost killed me with her eyes. This morning I adjusted Lior on my hip as I stepped out into the already busy courtyard, my eyes taking everything in once again like it might make more sense the more I take it in.I saw stone pathways curved very elegantly around gardens that were decorated with silver-leafed trees. It was beautiful too but Ironfang gardens were more beautiful if I was honestly comparing. They had frosted flowers that looked and glimmered like crystals. Some sharp enough to cut you if you weren’t careful. The moonlight pack was beautiful though. I appreciated their scenery. Reminds me of Thornshade a litt

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Temporal Distraction Or?

DravenI didn’t move immediately after she walked away. I couldn’t move. I watched her take her things and went straight to him. He’s her brother. I get that but still—I watched him hold Lior like it was natural. Like he had a right to it.Technically, he did.Arrrrrrggghhhh! She just walked away like I wasn’t standing right here.I crossed the outer chamber of the Moonlight pack without breaking stride. Kael and Zuri had our bags in hand as they followed behind. My boot struck softly and I glanced at the banners lining their walls. Are those new? Huh!I see Domario changed the banners since the last Conclave. These have got new crests but I didn’t bother sparing them more than a glance. As I moved towards the inner chamber meant for me my nose twitched. The air carried that usual blend of cedarwood and iron when too many Alphas under one roof. Domario said it was to mask the scent or whatever he means by it.I pushed past the carved double doors with A.D carved into the headboard.

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Bloodbloom Petals

ElaraLior’s screaming tore me out of the deepest parts of my sleep. The red rash on his collarbone was back and worse, it had spread. I pick him up but he’s thrashing about. So, I did the one thing that came to mind— I cast a sleeping spell and he in a few minutes, he’d fallen asleep.I breathed

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Into The Vale

ElaraThe Hollowed Vale didn’t feel welcoming. I guess it’s why it’s called the Hollowed Vale. Fog pressed in from all sides the moment we got to the entrance. It felt thick and cold, I shivered. It felt like the Hollowed Vale breathed but not like a living thing but that slow, patient awareness t

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   Vale’s Breath

ElaraThe fog moved first, sliding low across the forest floor before coiling around our boots and then rising in thin, before clearing. We were in another part of the vale. The air thickened with a damp, metallic taste that settled on my tongue. Twigs start curling up our hands. These are hollowed

  • MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA   The Vale’s First Test

DravenThe earth closed over me with much violence as fog thickened everywhere.I landed on solid ground, my boots sank slightly into damp soil, the air thick and unmoving. Above me, roots twisted like ribs, arching into a hollow chamber lit by a dim, colorless glow.I straightened slowly, I didn’t
