CHAPTER FIFTEEN: HELP!

Seven years. Of course a lot has changed. 

The furniture had become older, the curtains had been changed, the silence in the house had become deafening - something that was foreign to his home seven years ago.

Silence, absolute silence, strange as it was. New to a home that used to consist of seven noisy children with a troublesome grandmother seven years ago. 

Nothing good was going to come out of this visit of his, he felt it in his bones. 

The house was basically the same, only older.

It clearly had not been painted in a while and the air conditioning system was non-functional now but the television was still there. 

That same old 64 inches flat screen television hanging on the yellow wall at the center of everything, with a sports highlights program displaying on it's screen.

When did his mum become a fan of sports? He wondered.
