MISS CHEERLEADER WEREWOLF

EPISODE 1: CHEER ME ON

I have always enjoyed being a cheerleader because it was easy and made me happy. It was supposed to be my thing where I did not have to make excuses or pretend that something was wrong with me or my mental health, but that glimmer of hope vanished the moment I felt my blood bump and my eyes turned a different color than they should be.

It was the morning of my school's pep rally, and I was already dressed and about to leave the house when I noticed changes in my body _ and they were not the type of changes that people associate with the human and female bodies; it simply happened that I felt an insane amount of bloodlust, and my eyes changed color _ I have dark colored eyes, and they have never changed in my lifetime.

I thought my parents would freak out when I told them what just happened, but instead of freaking out and causing a lot of tension, my mom, Mrs Grace, and Mr Daniel, sat me down on the couch and told me about the history of us being not humans but freaking werewolves _ those types of stories parents tell their children In the night, which we all refer to as fiction, it was revealed that none of them were simply fictional stories told by parents to scare their children.

My mother was concerned that I would reveal their secrets, and even if I did, I would not disappoint my teammates, especially since I am the captain of the cheerleaders club.

They saw reasons and agreed that it would be a good idea to accompany me to my school's pep rally. My parents, who have never been concerned about my education, are now willing to sit down for several hours to watch over me? That is more pleasant and less creepy for them.

I arrived just before halftime, Daniella and the others were already dressed, and when I arrived at our changing room, Daniella and the other girls were overjoyed to see me; there were only a few who did not like the fact that I came to the show, and we were all dressed to go outside for the show.

My parents took their seats alongside the other parents, and I went outside with my teammates, where I could see my mother's counterpoint. She was not at ease about what had happened back home.

My teammates and I began our routine, and while we were demonstrating our cheerleader abilities, one of the girls who was supposed to stand up and form a pyramid had stage fright and was unable to do so. And without that, the routine would be incomplete.

Nobody wanted to stand on top of the pyramid, so I had to volunteer and then participate in the routine. I jumped with my partner and we completed the pyramid routine without incident _ but as I was about to come down, I became dizzy and my feet slipped, causing me to fall to the ground and blank out...

I awoke a few moments later and saw myself in the nurses' ward. Daniella walked in, along with the rest of the cheerleaders; everyone was concerned about me, and they were not the only ones who came to see me when I awoke.

"Hello, how are you feeling?"

My parents were standing next to Mrs Sophia, a female nurse. As they talked, I noticed when my father gave her a clue and my teammates were asked to leave the room _ something felt fishy, and I knew it was because the look on my parents' faces and the nurses' faces indicated that they knew something I didn't.

"Ivanna, how are you feeling?" Following the first question, Mrs Sophia approached and took my temperature with a thermometer. It took a long time before she told my parents that my fever had subsided. Mom thanked her, and as she continued to praise her, dad asked if I could accompany them home. Sophia nodded, and I was clearly escorted from the bed to the car and driven home.

My parents refused to let me leave the room all day, and I was also forbidden from doing anything or talking to my friends. It was a forceful way of getting me to do nothing but lie down on the bed and waste my time.

"Ivanna, Can I speak with you?".

After a few hours, my parents knocked on my door and entered my room.

They made faces as if I was about to be yelled at, which is something my mother usually does while my father sits behind and observes.

" What! "Have I done something wrong?" I stared at their faces and inquired...

" Wrong? "No, but if you had listened to us, none of this would have happened."

Mom reprimanded me, and dad stood behind, as usual, observing.

After hearing her taunt me, my father decided to provide a solution.

I had to attend an after-school academy for training because they wanted me to be fully aware of my werewolf powers _ and as much as I wanted to be the best werewolf I could ever be, the only problem was how to even begin accepting the strange changes that were happening to my body. And why did I faint during my school performance?.

I promised to stay on track with my training and avoid exposing the truth.

Because of what happened the next morning, my mother purchased me a wristwatch that can detect my heart rate as well as medical checkups that I would require in order to at least resonate with the new changes that were taking place.

I used to be normal, but now what? I have a feeling this is only the beginning of what is to come.

"Ivanna...good morning."

I had only just arrived at school when Daniella rushed over and hugged me tightly. She and I walked to the classroom together, and Sarah and her friends entered. Sarah and I have not gotten along since I beat her in the head cheerleader election and allegedly stole her ex-boyfriend. And, while it appears bad, Christian was not even dating her when we went on a date, at least that is what he told me, and I foolishly trusted him and did not find out for myself.

We only went on one date, and she is been after my life and peace of mind ever since.
