CHAPTER FOUR ~☆-I AM NOT A THIEF!

Lyra walked into the house, and she looked around. The hallway was empty,good.

She quickened her pace and soon got to Sera's room,she opened it slowly.

Determined to take the necklace,she barely noticed the sky had changed, and it would soon rain.

As she searched for it,her heart beat quickened as she heard footsteps.

When the sounds got faint,she would be relieved again.

She searched all the drawers in Sera's large room that was ten times larger than hers and furnished.

Silver polished,sparkling clean.

It smelt expensive, and she felt lightheaded, but she didn't want to think about it.

Her sister had this room to herself while she lived like a slave.

Her hands touched something metallic, and she froze.

She had found the necklace.

With a smile on her gorgeous face,she quickly brought it out.its golden polished color was decorated with silver chains.

The necklace was really beautiful and truly looked expensive.

"What are you doing in my room?" The voice she heard made her froze.

Sera had entered while she was busy admiring the beautiful necklace.

"I-" she opened her mouth and closed it,not knowing what to say.

"You dare enter my room,your wrench!" She yelled annoyed,then her eyes went to the necklace.

Panic filled her eyes.

Lyra noticed and then finally said.innicemt voice,laced with quiet kind of boldness.

"So you took the necklace? Why?"

Sera smirked as she stepped forward.

"I did,and what are you going to do? Tell who? No one will believe you!" She spoke voice laced with annoyance.

Lyra gulped,but before she could do anything,Sera screamed so loudly that guards came running,their parent behind,worried.

"Mother,father,I came in to see Lyra hiding the necklace in my room!" Sera cried out as she rushed to her parent.

Lyra stood shocked. Her mouth fell open.

Her parents looked at her, and the necklace was shimmering on her palm.

Lyra quickly spoke,hands trembling as she held the necklace tightly.

"Sera,I did not,you were the one who -"

"Shut up,you nonetity!" Her father's authoritative voice shunned whatever thing she wanted to say.

They did not need a soothsayer to tell them the truth,they believed Sera immediately.

Her mother walked up to her and gave her a resounding slap. Lyra held her cheeks,tears threatening to fall down.

"How dare you foolish girl try to frame your own sister for what you did!"

"Mother -"

"I am not your mother,I can never birth a thief!" That statement broke something in Lyra.

Her own mother would not even hear her out.

"Mother,please forgive her," Sera faked, the concerned voice spoke,still sobbing.

Lyra stared at her,eyes in tears.

"No,Sera,she must face the consequences! Guards,drag her to the pack hall!" Beta Vale spoke,anger in his tone.

A worthless girl,who is also a thief! Godforbid such daughter!

The guards dragged Lyra out in her nightdress,she cried,begged, but they roughly threw her to the ground.

The alpha,kael, stood at the center,anger surge through him as he sighted Lyra being dragged, but he pushed the feeling aside.

He hated her, and he had rejected her, so why did it all feel so wrong.

No,I can't feel pity for her,she is a foolish, weak girl!

He faced a small crowd of people.

"Lock her up! Tomorrow,she would face her punishment! " he spoke, annoyed as Lyra knelt down sobbing.

The guards dragged her roughly

again,this time,to the prison room as she cried in pain
