I stayed quiet while sitting on the cold chair by the swimming pool. Everyone else in the house was already asleep. I was sure only Kerill and I were still awake.

I couldn’t sit still as I watched him swim. I didn’t even know why he asked me to come here. After what he did earlier in front of the press, he’d become even more clingy and kept smiling whenever our eyes met.
