CHAPTER 12

RUBY'S POV

I almost began to panic when Sally had called me mum in front of Dax but I was happy with the way Clarissa handled the situation. The only thing to do now was to get Sally to start calling her mum instead of Aunt Clarissa and I was sure that would be a piece of cake.

Once everyone was gone, I knew this was it. The moment that I would have to take Dax back if he asked again because I couldn’t wait to get on with the revenge and have him out of my life for good once I was done with him.

I felt nervous and I couldn’t even bring myself to look at him because I could remember what I said to him before I passed out.

Slowly, I looked beneath my blanket and I saw I was still in my pink pajamas. For an unexplainable reason, I suddenly felt embarrassed and conscious about how I looked so I quickly tried to fix my hair before sitting up and he was quick to assist me but I still didn’t look at him.

Not when he had his hands on my skin and it was making me have a huge meltdow
