Chapter 37 - Always Trouble

Bani's footsteps sounded hurried down the stairs of the luxury apartment. He was breathing hard. He opened the car door with shaking hands, then started the engine and drove off.

"This is bad... If Mr. Samuel keeps this up, it could worsen his condition," Bani muttered as he gripped the steering wheel tightly.

A few minutes later, Bani was standing in front of Rebecca's apartment door. The man pressed the bell repeatedly.

Not long after, the door was opened by Rebecca herself. She was surprised by Bani's arrival.

"Bani's assistant?" She said quickly. "Why are you here? In the middle of the night?"

"Please, Mrs. Rebecca... Mr. Samuel needs you," Bani's voice sounded heavy.

Rebecca frowned. "What do you mean, what's wrong with Samuel?"

"Mr. Samuel is very drunk, Mrs. He's almost finished three bottles of wine. He keeps talking about you... keeps mentioning your name," Bani explained, the man's breathing becoming irregular. "I'm afraid something will happen... Please come with me. Now."
