Forgotten Memories Part 1

Eric’s POV

After the accident, fragments of my memories vanished. The only recollections I retained were conversations with my mother and father.

Prior to the collision, regrettably, I can't recall what hit us, though I was informed it was a car.

Even more astonishing, I was discovered far from our vehicle. I often wonder how I survived, but no answers surface.

For some inexplicable reason, I began to blame myself, leading to days of avoidance from my grandfather and subsequent tears.

My Uncle Ben eventually disclosed why he avoided me: I served as a constant reminder of his beloved son's demise.

There was always a sense that I needed to remember something important or someone crucial, yet attempts to do so were met with excruciating headaches, necessitating medication for relief.

Even now, I yearn to recall the elusive memories, but they remain scattered.

“Hey, you don’t need to remember now. It will come,” Phoebe's gentle touch to my cheeks alleviated my anxieties and headaches.
