　　"What is this?" She asked no one in particular as she kept on reading the paper in her hand. She scoffed, unable to fathom what she was seeing.　　"What the fuck?!" She yelled when she got to the end of the paper and saw her signature, making the man on the bed turn to see who had just woken him up from his beautiful sleep.　　"What the fuck?!" Autumn's scream woke Perry immediately. At first, he couldn't quite fathom where he was, but in a few seconds, he realized he was in a hotel room.　　Then, he slowly turned to look at the lady behind him who had just screamed.　　"And… who are you?" He asked with raised eyebrows. His well-sculpted pointed Grecian nose scrunched up as his dark brown eyes stared into Autumn's hazel eyes.　　She was about to yell again while holding the marriage certificate in her hands when he added. "Besides, do you not know that it's wrong in every manner to wake someone up? Worst still, with a scream?" He asked and scoffed, still staring at her with an annoyed loo

　　He rolled his eyes before standing up and he headed to the table where he placed the phone.　　Checking the caller ID, it was a very close friend of his, Khalid, immediately, he picked up the call. "Yo, man."　　"My guy, how're you doing?"　　"Trying to be sane, man, this shit is all fucked up." He said to Khalid over the phone, then sighed right after.　　When Gloria refused his proposal, he called Khalid on his way to the bar to express his pain and frustration to him.　　Right after he left the hotel room and parted ways with Autumn too, he called Khalid and told him about the marriage certificate. 　　"I might not have entered your office before 8, but I was here before then," Autumn replied calmly, trying her best not to clench her teeth together because she was irritated with the way he was acting all bossy.　　He had all right to, he was a boss after all, but because she had seen another side of him before this, it was quite hard to fill that side of him in her head with this new one.　　She silently prayed that her nightstand with him and the marriage certificate issue wouldn't cause issues between them now that he was her new boss. All she wanted right now was to be told to resume work and she would do everything to stay low-key, so as not to draw his attention to her.　　"I see that you're much calmer than you were the other day. Why?" He raised his eyebrows at her, slightly mocking her. "I thought you were one to scream the whole building down?"　　Autumn cleared her throat as she remembered how she had constantly shouted at him in the hotel room, and then she adjusted her seat

　　Autumn thought about the offer once again, If she accepts it, her job will be retained.　　It was her dream job, and she couldn't bear to lose it, especially not when she went through so much before she was employed here.　　She thought about the marriage contract again. Perry said, his voice resounding in the office as he walked to have his seat opposite her. "And have you made the decision? Or was the soliloquizing and meditation all for nothing?"　　She scoffed at him and mouthed whatever. "Anyway, I've made up my mind to accept the proposal," she said, and Perry smiled in victory as he
