Mauritius was like heaven on the Earth . Serene felt her anxities disappearing and she took long breaths as if wanting to capture everything within her. The calming sea waves embracing her feet pleasured her as she surrendered to the beauty of the shore . The cold yet comforting winds blew her hair and she sheepishly giggled. She could feel the emancipation from  her identify crisis and unhealed wounds . All she was feeling was pure happiness. She concluded that this was the destination of any wanderlust soul. She felt her name being mirrored in this solace as it blessed  her with  pristine serenity and sanity. SHE FELT FREE...

"Hey Ser" Serene got startled when someone gave a soft pat on her shoulder. She was about to take out the dagger that she had kept at the back of her jeans but relaxed when she saw it was Eva.

"Hey what are you doing here. I thought you had retreated back to your room." inferred Ser (Serene)

" Yeah I did but my stupid brother told me he wouldn't be here till tonight so I changed my mind and planned a small tour. So I was planning if we could go around and you know have fun." Eva proposed.

Serene was anxious in the beginning but agreed later." Okay then ,let me change first then you we can leave." She was about to turn when Eva questioned ," Are you planning to kill someone?" The seriousness in her tone gave Serene cold shivers . She pondered if Eva had already seen her dagger but tried to keep her calm and faced her.

"What do you mean. Me killing som-"She couldn't complete when Eva started laughing loudly holding her stomach. " Your face...Oh my.....Hahahaha..You look so cute when you are serious. I meant you are already looking so gorgeous and if you do something else then half of the population would be dead. And am pretty sure they won't be able to handle 2 bombs in a day." She winked at her.

Serene was relieved and flustered at the same time." Oh..okay. Let's go now or we'll be late."

Both the girls went from shop to shop, stall to stall to enjoy all the delicacies and feel the adrenaline rush. In order to give a closure to this small outing and cool their young blood , they crashed in front of Fifty Five Lounge club, the iconic club of Mauritius.

The flashing lights in the thick darkness made the surroundings seductive. Sweaty bodies rubbing against each other increased the temperature of the room and the ambiance reeked of liquor and sweat.

Serene was a  bit uncomfortable but adjusted as she knew with a person like Rose there was no turning back.

"So Mi Amor, what would you like to have ? " The bartender asked flirting with these 2 pretty ladies.

"A Martini for me. What would you like to have Ser?" " Um...It's okay.. water is fine ." Serene stuttered.

"Seriously Serene Monroe coming to the best club just for water. Now this is injustice." Eva commented.

"Actually  this is my first time ...so yeah ... I honestly don't know a thing about drinks except for .....Coke." She wanted to say further but seeing Rose's mouth agape she considered shutting down a better option.

"Are you ....no.. no..I mean ...wait.... are you even an adult....how old are you??"Rose was shocked.

" No it's not like that. I am 20 but I just didn't get the time to drink. U know it never fascinated me. So that's it." Serene answered awkwardly.

Feeling the slipping vibe ,Rose chirped , " No problem my lady . Pleasure me with the honor of having your first drink with me." She bowed her head and lend her hand forward in a  royal way as if asking for permission. Serene laughed and they had the same drink and almost got drunk and danced like no tomorrow.

Both started shouting hysterically when the beats of DESPACITO hit the speakers. Some considered them crazy while the two obliviously shook their  asses teasing the  men and irritating the women because they couldn't help but feel insecure as they went from laughing to shouting to teasing and what not...

To sum it all up , it was a Blissful Night.

L'ARC PARIS The atmosphere of the nightclub was wrapped in muck sweat due to the grinding bodies and whiffs of cigarettes and weed. The ill-lit bouncy lights made the place exciting for youngsters and a harbor for illegal affairs. The shouts and hoots did nothing to erase the molesting memories out of Benjamin's brain. The sparkling liquid swirling in his glass was a perfect illustration of the emotions he was feeling. The morning instances flashed in his brain. He had chosen to jog to empty the burden of encounters but returned with a steel boulder on his shoulders. It was ruffling and perturbing for him. He drowned himself with another set of drinks in an attempt to wash the stains of reverberating voices. He had gone berserk on Carl for driving him to her place and intruding in his personal life. But from inside, he was scared. Scared of saying or doing something that could cause her pain. He desperately wanted but couldn't. So they silently left after a t

Benjamin entered his condo, still trying to digest the hurt and humiliation he was pelted with, he had expected the accusation but the slap was definitely a bonus. Her fiery eyes encumbering her wrath made him drown in guilt. He wanted to confess the truth but he couldn't because in a life like his, Love was a treacherous lie and she deserved much more than that. He stood under the shower and a tear escaped his eye. How cruel was life to compel him for curbing his feelings? He banged on the wall muttering profanities and retired for sleep, probably in hope of meeting her in his dreams. The following morning was somber for both hearts. One was hurt and the other was blazing. " Come on Rose, what's the harm in meeting for Lunch. It's been ages since we last met." insisted Aaron, who was a great friend of Rose from College. He was an Architect and was currently on a break visiting Paris, so was convincin

SMILES ORPHANAGE Serene squinted her eyes to stop the notorious sun from tickling her. It was a vibrant day with sultry warm breeze merrily dancing. She gazed at the wall clock which struck 8 in the morning. She still had an hour for the breakfast. She lazily rolled and moved towards the washroom for a calming shower. As she winded up and toweled herself dry, she looked up and her eyes turned misty. She generally avoided looking in the mirror and whenever she did, her true self was buried under layers of concealer. None knew her true self except her brother and Mrs.Williams who were introduced to partial truth. Now, when her gaze raked at her raw form, she could see the proof of being ugly and a disgrace. There were faint red marks on her arms and her thighs decorated with whip marks. Her left breast had a large scar running down her stomach, mocking her. It was still fr

SMILES ORPHANAGE The evening was crisp yet somber. The setting sun cast a rosy hue across the evening sky casting shadows on the ground. Rowan felt his heart soaring with delight looking at the familiar walls of the Orphanage decorated with cartoon paintings. The grass had grown greener and the flowers flourished merrily. As he walked past the gates, the nostalgia filled his eyes and throat. Although he was away for a week, he still missed the warmth of this place. The memories tried to rush back but he blocked it, he was too indulged to let sadness and pain sink in. It was almost 7 in the evening and he could hear the wild chatters of delirium from the dining hall. It was dinner time as per the schedule of the orphanage. He decided to freshen up before meeting the kids. The time he opened the door, he could feel his heart rate increasing. It was stagnant, not

Till the time, Benjamin could recover from the shock, she had already left. He felt extreme fury dancing and controlling his mind and body. She had outrageously declined the protection he had offered against the pervert. For once he could understand her anger and glare, but her ignorance irked him.'Was she so piqued that she wanted to go away from his side ?' his insides churned at the thought. He inhaled and exhaled to let calmness wash over. He didn't want to create any scene that could further provoke her. Moments passed by and people went back to enjoy the party. The waiter left quietly adjusting his collar and swiping the sweat beads shoned on his face.He couldn't erase the image of them leaving together. There was an unsettling feeling in his heart that lingered every time he chose to ignore the situation. The way that pervert had gazed and smirked at her was frustrating him and he final

PARISThe land of food and fashion was surreal. The glistening tall buildings, the notorious fascinations and the tempting fashion stores could easily tingle your heart. The seduction of The City of Lights and Romance was enchantingly wrapped in the blanket of winter breeze. It was a salvation for a wanderlust soul.As Benjamin strolled out of his jet, he took a breath of composure and put on his shades. His Bugatti was readily waiting to take him to his condo. He sat inside so did Carl. It had been almost 3 years since he came to France earlier it used to be strictly for business but this time he thought of taking a small break for at least 3 days. While leaning back in his seat, he realized how robotically he was working for so many years, some lethal missions, disgusting auctions and sometimes even busting trafficking deals. He sighed because of the solitude he felt in his heart and life. The absence of Serene did no wonders

ITALY"Sir I got a call from our French business branch. The manager informed that Paris Pearls, the biggest fashion house of France are hosting their fashion week and they have invited the top businessmen from all around the world, we are one of them." Carl informed Benjamin who was checking the revenue files of their legal business." So what! Do you think I have time to attend such petty fashion shows? They invite businessmen for their own publicity and I am not a fool. My presence will profit them more than me. So return it with a NO." he sternly declared and went back to calculations while Carl nodded turning to leave. But abruptly stopped." Sir I think you should attend this." Benjamin raised his eyebrow mocking his audacity to cross-question an order." Are you asking for a death wish because even if you are not, I am about to grant you." warning wa

MAURITIUS" This is not fair Chazi. You promised you'll return in 3 days and you didn't even call for 7 days. Joey will not talk to you." he huffed, holding the phone in his little hands, his cheeks turning red. Sister Anne was silently laughing behind him." Sorry, Jojo. I wanted to come early but I stopped to buy gifts for everyone. I was looking for the best gift for you but now you don't want si I'll leav..." Rowan expected the answer and he got it wrapped in an excited yell." No! I was joking. Come with gifts. I am not angry. I swear." Joey exclaimed hurriedly not willing to miss the pleasure of gifts. " But when will you come ?" he asked in a whisper." I'll be there by tomorrow evening Jojo. Brace yourself for the amazing delight. Inform Sister regarding my arrival. Okay !"" Yes, Chazi. I will and come fast. I love you. You are the Best !!!"

SMILES ORPHANAGE" Good Morning children! " Mrs. Williams greeted the children who had formed a circle around her group, some being enthusiastic like a bee while others calm like the sea."Good Morning miss," they shouted on the top of their lungs anticipating the motive of the arrival of strange faces. The children at Smiles Orphanage were extremely warm and welcoming. Although they were prey to a barbaric fate, they still had their innocence intact. They still believed that their parents had become stars or angels protecting them from above." I am Mia Williams and this is my group. We are here to have fun with you, little flowers. We'll dance, sing, learn and grow together hand in hand. Are you ready for this amazing talent show ?" she said loudly."Talent show? What is that ?" asked a 4 year old, energetic boy." It is sort of an exam, but a lot more fu
