I like him

Georgina's POV

"I'm so so sorry," he quickly apologized as he stood up in a hurry. I didn't want him to be sorry, I wanted him to love it. Just the way I loved it, I wanted him to also love it and want more, the same way I want more right now.

"It's—"

"I'm really sorry, my Luna" he bowed. I stood up from where I sat, I wanted him again and again. Those sweet like honey lips, I wanted them again. But all he did was keep on apologizing.

"It wasn't your fault," I said to him when I got close to him, but he took a step backward before bowing his head,

"I'm sorry my Luna, it was my mistake. We should hold back to the castle now. I am sure the Alpha will be looking everywhere for you"

I groaned as I didn't understand why he was apologizing and why he had to mention that bastard's name right now.

"It wasn't your mistake," I corrected as I took his hand. He tried to take it away but I didn't let him.

"I was the one who kissed you. And I didn't do it by mistake. I did it on purpose and I'm going to do it again" I announced to him as I moved closer. I refuse to let go of his hand.

"My queen, I… I… am—"

"Shuhhh" I shushed him before grabbing his shirt, he struggled with me when he noticed I was diving in for another kiss. He looks so cute even when he struggles. I didn't let him leave even when he begged to leave.

"I want to kiss you," I said to him but he refused, he was struggling to get out of my grip. And before I knew it, he had slipped out of my hands and ran away.

"Hey! You cannot leave your Luna here!" I yelled hoping he would come back but he didn't.

A deep frown formed on my face. I was breathing so hard because of the small fight we had just had. My finger slowly went to my lower lip and caressed it,

"I like him," I whispered. Not only did I feel it, but my wolf did too. It was like a flame had been lit inside me. I felt giddy, young, and excited like one who had just been asked out by her crush.

"I would get you Godfrey, I will get you" The smile on my face remained as I began to make my way to the castle.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a thing, I have never felt this way kissing a man before, not even Thomas. Godfrey is young blood, someone my heart is already yielding for.

I didn't know when I got into the castle and made my way to my room, ignoring everyone around. I could hear some of the guests telling me goodbye, all I did was nod as I made my way to my room.

As I walked, I checked if I would see him, Godfrey, but he was nowhere to be found. I tried not to blush whenever I remembered the kiss but I was failing woefully. The moment I closed the door behind me, I covered my face with both palms and began to laugh.

With the thought still in my head, I made my way to the bed and fell on it. Godfrey was the last thing on my mind before I drifted to sleep.

"My queen, My queen!" A knock on the door woke me up. I looked at the weather, it was bright outside. I had slept off without taking my bath or taking off my gown. All because I was thinking of Godfrey and the kiss we shared.

"Luna!" The knock continued so I got up and made my way to the door and opened it,

"Hm,"

"The Alpha seeks your presence at the dining, ma" the maid bowed. I narrowed my eyes at her wondering if she was the one my husband was screwing last night.

"I'd be there in twenty" I replied before slamming the door on her face. I don't care if she was the one, all these maids must have slept with Thomas.

"That bastard. You have forgotten that you were just a dog when I picked you up, polished you, and made you Alpha. Now, you've grown extra teeth, you turn back at me to attack me"

As I spoke, I took off my clothes and went to the bathroom to have my bath.

"No fear, you are screwing my maids under my roof. What a loser" I continued to curse and spat words of regret as I took my bath, and then dressed up. When I was done, I made my way out of my room to the dining room.

"Mother, you're late," Pamela said to me the minute I stepped into the dining room.

"Yes, my dear. I overslept. Good morning" I greeted them both. Thomas nodded before he picked up his cutlery and began to eat without wasting time. Pamela on the other hand asked,

"Where were you both? You both disappeared till my birthday was over"

"Well, since your father decided to go to sleep early, I also went to bed" I replied before Thomas could.

The man didn't spare me a glance, I thought maybe he would freeze or act suspicious but there was nothing. Nothing at all. He was the same before and after I was done talking. I shook my head before picking up my cutlery and ate as well.

I thought now that Pamela had refused Godfrey, maybe she was going to tell her father about it but she didn't. She just quietly ate her food. Neither did Thomas explain where he had gone to and why he missed her special night.

They really were father and daughter. Both had the same secrecy in them.

My eyes scanned the room, I wondered where Godfrey might be this morning. Until yesterday, I had not really taken notice of him. I'll go search for him after breakfast

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Our forever

Godfrey’s POVThe morning of our wedding arrived with the soft glow of the sun spilling across the palace grounds. The sky was clear, the air cool and fresh, filled with the scents of wildflowers and pine from the nearby forest. Our wedding wasn’t just an ordinary one…it was a sacred werewolf ceremony, a bond blessed by the Moon Goddess, witnessed by our ancestors, and celebrated by our pack. The ceremony took place in the Moonstone Glade, a magical clearing hidden deep within the forest. The ground was covered with soft green moss, and petals of white and red flowers were scattered everywhere. An arch made of silver birch branches stood tall at the center, decorated with roses. Georgina had insisted that we did our wedding here and I agreed to it. “Are you nervous?” David whispered behind me. “Because I am.”I chuckled, turning to him. “I am the groom but you look more nervous than I am.”That was a lie, my heart was on fire, and I was only faking my calmness. Before he could r

Georgina smiled walking towards the elders, they staggered backward in fear as they stared at her. Joana rushed over, pulling her into a hug. “You are alive,” she cried. Georgina smiled and released herself from her embrace. “come, I know you have a lot that you want to tell me and you want to know,” she said dragging her away. I turned to the sentinels. “Take the culprits to the dungeon, I want all eyes on them.”They nodded and moved into action, dragging them away. Just then another sentinel walked up to me and told me that my parents had arrived and were waiting for me. I asked him to gesture them in, and he nodded leaving immedi

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The truth in the shadows

Godfrey's POV***The day of Georgina's attack***The cold wind blew through the thick forest as we searched for Nathan and Thomas, but there was no sign of them. “Keep looking,” I instructed the guards, suddenly Draco felt uneasy. I paused looking around but there was nothing around that could have triggered Draco. “What happened?” I asked. I could feel Draco's rage flaring up, his growl low but dangerous. Something was wrong.I could finally feel it, something was indeed not right, I looked around studying the forest, and my eyes turned to Pamela who looked uneasy. This was a trick, a trap or a diversion. “Georgina,” I muttered, my eyes widened in alarm and without thinking, I ran back toward the mountains, my heart hammering loudly in my chest. I needed to get to Georgina immediately. I got to where I left her and Alicia and found no one, my uneasiness growing as I scanned the environment, but still no sign of them. Suddenly I looked up and I saw her.Georgina.She was stand

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Almost over

She slammed the door shut behind her, the echo ringing through the room, Her hands curled into fists, her whole body trembling with anger.Across the room, Alicia leaned against the wall, her arms crossed under her breasts, a faint smile playing on her lips. The flickering candlelight cast shadows on her face. “We had a deal," Pamela spat, her voice cold and sharp. “You tricked me.”Alicia sighed, tilting her head slightly as if bored by the conversation. "Your mother is dead, Pamela. Isn’t that what you wanted?"Pamela’s eyes burned with rage. “I wanted her dead,” Pamela snapped, walking closer to her. “But do you know what I wanted more? The throne,” she snapped. “I did my own part of the job,” Alicia hissed. “Your own part of the job?* She scoffed, shaking her head in disbelief. “I wanted the throne, you said you would give me the throne.”Alicia let out a chuckle. “You lost th

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The Return to the Palace

Georgina’s body lay cold in my arms, wrapped in a dark cloak, her face pale as the dead sky above us.I could not feel anything. No pain. No anger. Just emptiness.I couldn't help but feel this was my fault, I was the one that persuaded her to go on this trip and I led her to her death and worst of all I couldn't catch the culprits. Tears flowed down my cheeks freely, words could not explain how I felt, I just felt empty and filled with guilt. “It is all your fault, it is your fault, your fault,” the accusations kept playing in my mind.I searched through my mind looking for Draco, I needed someone to pull me back…it was just too sudden. I kept glancing back at her body, hoping Georgina would just get up but she didn't.The sentinels followed behind in silence, their faces grim, so we were crying loudly. The moment we stepped inside the palace, the cries increased. Ser

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The North sea
