21. Shout

LILY'S POV

I felt someone shaking my body. "Liliana, wake up!" My eyes opens to see Nicholas in front of me. I look around me. Did I fall asleep on the couch? It's late evening and everywhere is dark. "Why are you sleeping here?" He asked. I sigh before sitting up.

"I......I think I fell asleep. I was waiting for....." I trailed off as I stretch my body with a yawn. He was still watching my every move.

"Did you eat?" He asked. He just got back from work and he's asking me if I've eaten?

"No. I was waiting for you" I said, trying to avoid eye contact. He grabs my chin and tilted my head so I was looking at him.

"Don't wait for me if you need to eat. Okay?" He said.
