Emily's Point Of View

Today is my first day at Princeton University. I walk along the corridor of my new campus, feeling slightly nervous about the new atmosphere, but mostly excited about this new chapter of life.

Peter left earlier in the morning because he had football practice. I can't wait to watch his team play.

Already liking the air here, I inhale a deep breath, a smile touching my lips. Being a college student brings a new sense of freedom I haven't experienced before.

It's like I'm not entirely under my parents' radar anymore.

Stepping into my first Petrology class, I notice that some students are already taking their seats in the lecture hall. I decided to take one of the front rows.

Right. I don't want to miss my first lecture. My other classmates may be way more brilliant than I am.

‘Chill, Emily. Damn.’ My wolf Esme said to me. I was overthinking again. I can't help it. It's normal to become nervous on my first day in college, right?

While I'm putting out my notebook from my backpack, a girl flops herself on the seat next to me.

She has bob-styled short brown hair, with the front layers dyed pink and a pair of chocolate brown eyes, with cute freckles on her nose and cheeks. I took her scent and knew immediately that she was human.

My new classmate. She huffs before taking out her books from her backpack. When she opens her pencil case, she looks surprised that she can't find anything she can use to take notes.

"Here." I smile, lending her one of my pens. She looks up at me with an expression I can't describe, but more like astonishment.

"Thanks." She grins.

"Anytime," I say as the lecturer enters the class, shifting our attention and leaving us no choice but to drop our first conversation.

The class goes on more smoothly than I expected. The lecturer is good at explaining the module so that it's easier to understand but not boring. It finishes after about two hours. I'm tucking my files back into my backpack when the girl next to me hands me back my pen.

"You saved my first lecture," she jokes. "I was in such a hurry that I forgot a couple of things. Been quite nervous, since it's the first day. Didn't want to be late." I laugh.

"Been there." I can't agree more.

She smiles. "I'm Stephanie, by the way." She stretches her hand, and I shake hands with her.

"I'm Emily. Nice to meet you, Stephanie."

"Pleasure to meet you too." She breaks into a large grin, and I already like her bubbly attitude.

"I'm from Texas, just moved into the dorm. Have you gotten yours?"

“Actually-" I stumbled upon my words, feeling slightly embarrassed to say that my parents actually bought a house here just to accommodate their kids.

"I live in a house here, with my brother." She looks surprised.

"That's cool." She says and I just shake my head. "What are you doing after this?" she asks.

"Have you looked into the community clubs? They're promoting their booths in Hall B."

“No, I haven't," I say, feeling excited to explore. "Been wanting to join one of them but haven't decided which one is the best."

"Would you like to come with me, then?" she asks.

"Absolutely." I giggle as we slowly make our way out of the lecture hall.

"I've been dying to join the orchestra." She sighs as we walk along the corridor. My eyes widened.

"They have an orchestra?" Excitement builds up inside me. I didn't join any music club in high school but I always wanted to.

"Yes, we do have it here," she says, sounding like she didn't expect my reaction. "Do you play any musical instrument?"

"I play the Cello," I tell her the truth, and she gasps, making us halt.

"Seriously?" She beams with delight. "That's nice. I play the violin. I didn't expect that from you." I raise my brow, and she quickly corrects her point.

"Sorry. I mean, you look like the cheerleader type. Not the classical music lover," she says, resuming steps again.

"Please don't be offended. You're just so barbie-doll-like gorgeous that people can make such assumptions. Have you noticed how many people turned their heads when they saw you? And this comes from me, who just started walking with you a few minutes ago.”

I snort, laughing as I walk beside her. I always wonder why people tend to exaggerate it when they call me pretty. Seriously, I've seen many girls prettier than me.

When we arrive in the hall, I gawk at the surroundings. The hall is huge and filled with booths, new students scattered around the place.

We pass some art and literature booths where the seniors are busy explaining the club to the freshmen, and one particular booth catches my attention. It seems that it gives the same effect to Stephanie too, because she also stops beside me. It's the dance club.

The thing that makes our heads turn is the video playing on the projector screen. It's one of their dance performances, and what makes it eye-catching is the brunette in the video.

She is so enchanting, moving delicately and effortlessly beautiful in what seems to be a combination of ballet and contemporary dance. She emits an aura that accentuates not only sexiness and sultriness but also elegance. I don't know what they call the dance, but she makes me want to learn it.

I look around and notice that some male freshmen are already drooling over her, even the female population. Including me.

In short, I didn't expect that this university had an Adriana Lima who can dance.

"She's Allison," one of the sophomore girls who run the booth explains to me, who obviously has been star struck.

"She's one of our best dancers. We conduct training and practices every week. Are you interested in joining?" I laugh in disbelief, shaking my head. There's no way that I can become a pro like her. Dancing isn't one of my best abilities.

After politely refusing the offer, Stephanie and I continue exploring, passing the booth of the football team.

I look for Peter and Eren, but they're not around. I haven't seen Eren for a week, since he hasn't come to our house again. The football practices have made the guys quite busy.

I turn on my heels to leave the spot, earning a protest from Stephanie.

"Geez, Emily. Can you give me some more time to look at those eye candies?" she jokes, and I laugh. "Are you not interested to know about our football team?"

"I know enough to write a novel about them. My brother is the quarterback," I blurt out, making Stephanie abruptly stop in her tracks. She gasps wildly and grabs my hand to make me stop walking.

"Are you saying that Peter Stoneheart is your brother?" I turn around to face her.

Wow. Peter must be very famous that even Stacey-- who just stepped into this university- knows about him.

"Hi, Emily," someone calls before I can respond to Stephanie. I turn my head and find a guy standing before us. He's tall, skinny, and has messy curly brown hair, his bangs almost covering his eyes, he also has eye glasses on which makes him look like a nerd– a handsome nerd.

He looks nervous, scratching the back of his head as he smiles at me.

"I saw you earlier and couldn't help but talk to you. We went to the same Petrology class this morning" he says.

"I'm Cameron." He stretches his hand to shake hands with me, and I accept it.

"Hi, Cameron." I smile, being polite, but wonder how he knows my name. He smells human so I don't think I could known him from the pack, but I will admit he looked really familiar.

"Have we met before?" I ask him.

"We actually went to the same high school together." That surprises me. I feel guilty for not recognizing him, while he obviously remembers.

"I'm sorry. I should have reali-"

"No, it's okay," he cuts me off. "Do you still have classes after this? I mean.. We could, you know... Grab some lunch together. If you don't mind..." Then he looks down. I open my mouth, but nothing comes out from it. I turn my head towards Stephanie, and we both look at each other with a lost expression.

"I still have one more class after this, which starts in..." Stephanie looks at her watch.

"15 minutes." She laughs half-heartedly. "I don't think I can join you guys." She gives me an apologetic look.

That leaves me in a dilemma. I feel bad if I have to reject Cameron. I honestly don't have any classes after this, and I never feel comfortable telling lies.

Just a lunch won't hurt, will it?

"I don't have--"

“Sorry, dude. She'll have lunch with me.” A voice suddenly interrupts us, and I snap my head. Peter appears beside me, pulling me closer to him.

The colour drains from Cameron's face as he sees Peter, and he has no choice but to back off without saying a word.

"That was mean, Peter." I glare at him, his eyes still not leaving Cameron's back. Stephanie clears her throat, making me turn to her. She gulps as Peter shifts his attention to her.

"Peter, this is my friend, Stephanie." I introduced her.

"Stephanie, Peter."

"Hi, Steffy." Peter smiles at her, and Stephanie blushes crimson.

"Hi," Stephanie says, looking shy all of a sudden before turning to me.

"It's really nice to meet your brother, Emily." I wonder what's going through her mind now because she looks flustered.

"I have another class to prepare, so I gotta go." She laughs. "Enjoy your lunch."

"See you." I smile, waving my hand, watching her go.

"You see, that's exactly why I need to look out for you," Peter mutters as we walk.

"Can't you see that guy is a total creep?"

"He was just being friendly. And have you forgotten I'm the white wolf, I'm sure I can protect myself against a human," I argue. This is my first day in college, and I want to make friends.

"I don't like him." Peter says.

"Peter," I warned him. There he goes, again being overly protective.

"I'm a guy, Emm. I have intuition. That guy was weird. And he looked like he wanted to eat you instead of eating lunch together."

“You know there are more likely chances that I lose control and I eat him right?” I scoff. “And I don't need you constantly protecting me, I can handle myself. Trust me.”

“Okay, I trust you.” Peter laughs and slings his arm around my shoulders.

"On a different note, your new girl friend looks cute," he says casually, and I roll my eyes.

“Peter, stay away from that sweet girl, you hear me.” I spoke in a warning tone and he laughed again.

“Okay I hear you, I'm just pointing out that she looked cute, that's all.” He said as we walked off to the cafeteria to get lunch.

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Condemned!

Eren’s Point Of ViewTHE ELDERS’ HALL REEKED of incense and cold judgment. Silver flames hissed in the torches above, their poison burning the air until every breath scraped like glass down my throat.I knew what was coming the moment they summoned me at dawn. This wasn’t a trial. It was a punishment. I was being condemned for my decision, and I knew this was going to hurt. The chamber was circular, the walls carved with runes that pulsed faintly with ancient power. I dropped to one knee at the center, my head bowed. I was an Alpha but in the presence of the Elders my complete submission was expected, even if my blood screamed against it.They were our Elders, the oldest known werewolves. There were only six of them left alive, their Head, Marcellus was nearly a thousand years old, his presence shaped the werewolf world through all of history.“Eren of Fenrir’s line,” Elder Marcellus’s voice rolled like thunder, ancient and merciless. “You defied us. You broke one of our rules; you tu

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    The Drill

Emily’s Point of ViewStephanie’s sobs shook against me, raw and broken, as though the weight of an entire world had been dropped on her shoulders. And in a way, it had.I stroked her hair, murmuring words I wasn’t sure were enough. You’re safe. You’ll learn. You’re not alone. Each promise felt fragile, like glass pressed too hard, ready to shatter.Finn crouched beside us, his voice gentle in a way I rarely heard. “She’s slipping between the human and the wolf. It’s always worst the first day. The senses come alive all at once. Every sound, every smell, every emotion—it’s like drowning with no water.”Jordan nodded. “If she doesn’t learn to ground herself, she’ll spiral. That’s how most new wolves… break.”The word hung in the air. Break.Newly turned werewolves, although rare because of the Elders ban, usually turn primal and give in to their wolf and turn into feral rogues. This wasn't what I wanted to become of my friend.Stephanie pulled back, her eyes wide and wild again. “I—I c

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Her Transition

Emily’s Point Of ViewThe first light of dawn filtered through the velvet curtains, bleeding gold across the polished furniture in Eren’s guest room.I woke up with a feeling of tranquility and peace, it was all thanks to my late night talk with Eren. The nightmares about Bella tormenting me were gone now, but still there was a feeling of unease gnawing at me. There were still unresolved problems far greater than my nightmares. Stephanie.I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the clock on the wall. The time was 6:55 a.m. and I was lost in worries of my own. Then a scream shattered the silence of my mind bringing my worries to life.It was powerful and high-pitched. It was terrified.Stephanie.My heart lurched. I was already running before I realized it, my bare feet flying across the marble hallway. Finn and Jordan barreled out of their rooms at the same time, their eyes wide, every instinct on edge.We reached Stephanie’s door together—and froze. The room was in chaos.Curtains ri

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Worth

Emily's Point Of View THE FIRST KISS of sunlight grazed my eyelids and a smile met my lips. I could feel the salty wind sizzle in my hair as the ocean waves swelled and crashed against itself in a steady rhythm, while the sea gulls squawk blending into a calming melody. I look down into the ocean noticing a white sea shell. I picked it up, it looked so beautiful and glistened like a diamond hidden in the tide. Soon the beautiful sea shell dissolved in my palms, turning into bright red, spilling through my fingers. ‘BLOOD!’’ The unmistakable stench of blood hits my senses strongly. I staggered back, my eyes staring at the ocean in shock, unable to believe what my eyes were telling me. The once blue ocean was now darkened and nothing more than an endless sea of blood. “This… this can’t be happening.” My whisper vanished into the air as the sky above cracked open with thunder, clouds twisting into a storm. “This can't be real!” I tried to move but I couldn't. My legs were c

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Die For You

Allyssa's Point Of View “You are all surrounded, and now you die!” Bella's sinister grin sent chills racing down my spine. Once again, she had succeeded in trapping us.“Of course. I should have expected you wouldn't honor your word.” Eren gritted, his eyes not leaving hers with defiance. Something in his fiery gaze didn't seem shocked by her treachery.“Well, duh,” Bella chuckled darkly, her laughter dripping with malice. “Your kind are savage beasts. My uncle taught me better than that.”She smiled, turning to Gordon who appeared frozen in place standing there behind her. Something was off; he was unnaturally quiet, his heartbeat echoing in the tense air like a drumroll on the verge of disaster. What was wrong with him?“Right! I taught you all the ruthless tricks in the book,” Gordon stammered, laughing nervously. I could sense his anxiety. I could even hear his heart beating so rapidly and fast, a palpable undercurrent that didn't make sense. Why was he so nervous? Then the scent

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    You Are All Surrounded!

Eren's Point Of View “There’s no one here,” Lance muttered, scanning the shadowy corners of the dilapidated building. The air felt heavy with an unsettling stillness—as if the very walls were holding their breath, afraid to give away the secrets they had witnessed. There was not a single soul here, the hunters had done their work well, leaving no trace, no scent, as if they had never existed at all.We were on a mission—raiding this house in search of the remaining hunters in New Jersey. Willow was able to get the location of their hideout from Gordon before I ripped out his heart. He told us his niece, Bella, accompanied with ten other hunters came into New Jersey recently and that they were hiding out at this old abandoned house.I knew Emily would forever be in danger unless these hunters were killed so Lance and I planned an attack, but the place is empty.“I don't understand, did Gordon lie to us?” Lance asked. His frustration mirrored my own as I fought against the gnawing worr
