Even though Rosalia was exhausted from a combination of an extremely busy day and a very late night the night before, she was still very eager to enjoy some after work drinks with some of her colleagues. They sat in a nearby bar laughing about the day and drinking.

It was all fun and games until a very irritated looking Ricci Marino came barging towards them angrily.

"Great of you to answer your phone Rosa", his tone was just as bad as the look on his face. He took Rosalia's arm pulling her towards him. She pulled back a little surprised by his actions. It wasn't exactly his style to manhandle her.

"Ricci? What the hell?" She stated confused.

She moved away from his grip and reached into her bag. Surely enough her cell phone had several missed calls and text messages from him.

"I've been looking for you all over the place"

"I'm sorry, I had no idea you were even picking me up today" She stated honestly. After Giovanni had dropped her off in the morning they had not discussed it

Rosalia smiled nervously as she retrieved the plate from Isabella's hands. Of course Giovanni had told his mother not to bring anything and just like every other year, she brought dessert. "Isabella you really didn't have to trouble yourself." She stated taking the tart from her grasp and placing it into the refrigerator. "My son doesn't know how to make dessert and I assume your skills embarrassingly mirror his own." She responded with a smirk hearing the clatter of glass bottles clinging together from inside the refrigerator. She had already hit a nerve. "Actually," Rosalia rebutted turning to face her. "My mother taught me all sorts of baking secrets; I often bring almond cookies to work for everyone. Gio is normally too busy to eat much during the day, but Stefano and Ricci seem to enjoy them." "Those boys will eat anything you put in front of them." "Speaking of eating." Giovanni's voice interrupted the pair from the doorway, "Rosalia and I should start plating up. Siediti m

"Was it really necessary to bring all of this? I did mention once or twice that it was a casual dinner." Giovanni peeled back the aluminium foil from the casserole tray peering in to inspect the red wine drenched chicken pieces along with some generous sprigs of rosemary. "When did you even marinate this?" "Last night." Rosalia responded as she pushed another dish into the refrigerator. "You made dessert too didn't you?" "Mmhmm," making her way over to him she removed the foil from the chicken, "where are your tongs?" She queried opening various drawers around her before Giovanni grabbed them from a ceramic holder on the kitchen counter top. "We have to remove the chicken from here," she lightly knocked the silver tongs on the tray. "Dust the pieces with flour, sear them off then make the sauce and add the red wine marinade." "This is too much food for a casual dinner. I say we reconsider the pasta." "Casual dinner?" She repeated mortified. "Yes Rosa, casual dinner, remember?"

"I said, I want my phone call!" Elisa slammed her tightly wrapped fist onto the table in front of her while John continued to casually flip through the manila folder filled with paper work. He knew her file now better than she even knew herself. He had no doubt that the events of her earlier petty crimes fuelled by drugs and alcohol were jumbled in her mind. However, he was more than eager to refresh her memory. "Hello!" She knocked on the table repeatedly; annoyed at the casual way he began placing individual sheets of paperwork across the table at an ever so slow agonizing pace. "You think this worries me?" She snapped more annoyed at the fact that he had yet to answer her and not so much with the information before her. "This," she waved a hand across the table, the slight wind from the motion scattering the paperwork out of order. "This is all the past. I paid my fines, completed my community service, put this shït away!" Officer John O'Connor raised an eyebrow at her, smirked

"Really?" Rosalia stopped dead in her tracks directly in front of the doorman. She sighed, a tired frustrated sound escaping her lips as the man cocked his head to the side curiously. It wasn't every night he saw a woman looking angry outside an exclusive restaurant. Normally she would be elated and grateful, not angry. She was exhausted after the very long day with her boss and boyfriend at work. Giovanni had insisted she spend the last two hours of her day seeing how fast she could run to the vault, lock it behind her and climb into the roof space. All while he sat at his desk with a timer watching security footage of the vault via his cell phone. The only reason she had continued to humour him through the process was because he had eventually promised her a date night. "You've got to be kidding me Gio?" Spinning on her heels to face him she was met by an equally confused look on his face as the doorman's. She stood with a hand on her hip as if he should know what she was wai

Elisa flashed Sonia a cheeky smile nudging her slightly with her elbow as the car before them came to a complete stop. "Looks like another customer" she whispered, "be on the lookout." Inconspicuously receiving the small plastic hand off from her friend, she slowly began making her way to the stationed vehicle while Sonia followed close behind turning her head from side to side keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings. The last thing they wanted was to be spotted and questioned by Giovanni's men. As the automatic window slowly slid down Elisa leaned over folding her arms across and onto the windows edge. With the drugs still concealed within the palm of her hand she flashed a smile at the well-dressed man knowing very well that just by the look of him she could easily over charge on this round. "Can I help you with something?" Continuing her innocent facade she lingered in a flirtatious manner being sure to flash her most valuable assets to the potential customer before her. S

Rosalia let out a long frustrated groan picking up the pile of cash on her desk for what seemed like the twentieth time. She had already separated the bills into sections the first time she counted them and could not for the life of her work out why they were short. Reaching for her iced coffee with her other hand she brought the straw to her lips enjoying yet another caffeine hit. This was her third coffee; at this point she was averaging one coffee every hour. Placing the coffee down, she returned her attention to the cash rapidly sorting through the bills murmuring the numbers out loud then referring to her spreadsheet for the matching total. She was a perfectionist and this would simply not do. Placing the bundle down, she continued the process with the other bundles of cash constantly checking her findings with her original spreadsheet. Nearing the end of her third bundle she heard the sound of the office door opening. Completely ignoring it she continued to count knowing
