MY MATE, MY PROTECTOR.CHAPTER TENDarius's POV. I couldn't sleep, nothing else was on my mind, only Estelle. She was all in my head and it was annoying. Very annoying. I instructed Ezra to inform me when she wakes but I haven't seen him and it's midnight already. It's possible she's still unconscious but one part of me really wanted to talk to her and apologise while the other part just hates the things she was doing to me. I decided to go check on her, whether she's awake or asleep. I left my room and locked it, I went to the room she's in and it was just adjacent to mine. MY MATE, MY PROTECTORCHAPTER ELEVENEstelle's POV 'He treats us badly', Mira said as soon as Darius left. I sighed and buried my face in my palm. I don't even care about him right now, I'm just confused why I'm beginning to have nightmares about my past back. I thought maybe the shock from Diane's assault must have caused it. I can never forgive Diane for the pain she put me through, I can never forgive Darius too for locking me up, the fact that I'm his mate made it hurt more. A knock on the door but I ignored it, the person knocked several times but I still ignored it. And then the person was unlocking the door, "Don't come in, I don't want to see you" I yelled. "It's not Darius" Ezra said and the door opened, he was by the doctor that attended to me before. She smiled at me as he entered but I snubbed it, looking away. Why would she even smile at me, she acted rudely the last time we met. She brought out her equipment and started checking some of my body vitals.

MY MATE, MY PROTECTOR.CHAPTER THIRTEENEstelle's POV. I woke up to a stench of dried blood and wet earth. I felt my cheek wet too, it was on the floor. I opened my eyes slowly but I was in a dark space, I sat up trying to make out where I was, blinking my eyes several times. Then I remembered I was taken by someone, I remembered everything that happened. I felt the wound on my leg was already cleaned and bandaged, I knew it would heal soon. I was unable to see anything because it was too dark, I tried walking around and I hit a wall. Tracing it with my hand, I realised it was like a four corner room but no door. It was just stuffy, dark and reeked with blood. No single ray of light entered the room, I know I'm not dreaming so I'm probably locked up in an underground cell or something. The one opposite mine wasn't locked too, it was dark, very dark but I couldn't stop staring. Then I thought I saw a wolf, lying down numb, I felt drawn to it. No one was around, I was alone and opposite this dark eerie cell. I decided to check in there. I walked out gently out of the cell I was in and slowly approached the dark one, the closer I got, the more I couldn't see anything. I went back and took the torch that was in mine so I could see better. I opened the door of the dark room gently, I put my torch forward but before my eyes could capture anything, I saw a very huge hairy wolf, it leapt forward at me and I screamed as it was about to land on me, but instead I landed on a hard floor.
