CHAPTER 42 RESCUED

Aiva's POV

"Did you just say my brother rescued me? What brother? Are you sure you're not talking about the wrong person?" I asked him with my head threatening to explode due to the confusion.

He sighed, "I think you should just rest. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow."

But I'm not convinced. I want to know who rescued me from the hands of the evil one. What if it's the masked guy in disguise?

"I'm not sure if I can sleep with the thought that a stranger is claiming to be my brother! It could be–"

"The masked guy that kidnapped you?" He cuts me off.

I nodded, "It could be him. He said he wasn't going to stop until he had drained me out completely. He's taking my blood like he's entitled to it."

He patted my head, giving me a reassuring smile. "I'm telling you not to worry because it's not him. I did confirm before letting him around you. And you're going to feel the bond when you see him."
