Maddox's POV I've been back now for two weeks and everything's going okay I guess. It doesn't seem like a lot of people know exactly what happened to me but everyone definitely knows that I was kidnapped. Maddox's POVAs nervous as I was about the meeting it ended up not being that bad so far. Maddox's POV I just made it into my room, slamming the door shut and locking it, not wanting to be bothered. As I started to walk toward the bed I stumbled forward clutching my stomach and chest. I stumbled toward the bed and caught it before I fell. I grunted and clenched my teeth at this painful sensation that burned through my chest and stomach. Maddox's POV The rest of the drive was much lighter, the air wasn't as thick. I felt more relaxed after our mushy moment. But as we were about 20 minutes out from snaggletooth's pack I started feeling him. I felt how sad he was. How heartbroken, how alone and broken he felt. It was faint at first and I couldn't quite understand what I was feeling initially. But the closer we got the stronger those feelings came to me. Maddox's POV I sit here staring at him, taking in his features for the first time. His long light brown hair that almost has a red tint to it. It's straight and hangs to his chin.
