Maddox's POVAs nervous as I was about the meeting it ended up not being that bad so far. Maddox's POV I just made it into my room, slamming the door shut and locking it, not wanting to be bothered. As I started to walk toward the bed I stumbled forward clutching my stomach and chest. Maddox's POV The rest of the drive was much lighter, the air wasn't as thick. I felt more relaxed after our mushy moment. But as we were about 20 minutes out from snaggletooth's pack I started feeling him. I felt how sad he was. How heartbroken, how alone and broken he felt. It was faint at first and I couldn't quite understand what I was feeling initially. But the closer we got the stronger those feelings came to me.
