Vera's POV

"Mum and dad really wanted to come say hi but I told then I'd call to update them"

I sat in Nina's room with her as I combed out the knots from her hair.

Something I missed doing from when she was a little girl.

I was surprised she let me but I wasn't complaining

i'm sure Julius was.

I decided he loved me whether he said it or not. His gestures, everything screamed his love and I was blind not to see it earlier.

We had eaten dinner together and I was going to make sure Julius had eaten and taken his medication but Nina asked me to help her with her hair.

"They should have come with you.

There is enough room after all"

"Yes but they didn't want to intrude "

"How's your studies going? "

"Going great so far.

Luios has been helping. He sent his condolences and promises to visit"

I soon finished up her hair and I threw it in a high pony tail away form her face to avoid any discomfort while she slept.

I placed the comb down on the table
