She thought Mr or Master Nathan was an old man with a protruding stomach and bald head. She won't know why she thought like that but she did think that.

 

But this man that was standing in front of her was the epitome of perfection. He is tall almost 6’3 and broad. His well-defined body was very nicely showing through the body fitted button-down shirt he wore. He was fair in complexion and his eyes were a dark shade of brown. He is a handsome man and it was no doubt.

 

He let out a little cough and a blush formed on Sophia's cheek realizing that how openly she was staring at him and had not replied to his greeting yet.

 

“Sorry, I was startled. Hello, nice to meet you, Mr. Williams.” Sophia was very embarrassed but finally decided to muster up her confidence to not embarrass herself more than she already had.

 

“Same here, Doctor,” Nathan said emotionlessly as he looked at the short healthy girl in front of him.

 

She was no doubt not an inch taller than 5’6. But the heels she is wearing made her look a bit taller. Her hazel brown long hair was cascading till her lower back. Her doe-like eyes were of hazel color same as her hair color.

 

She was not slim like those models rather she has a very curvy body and that was very interesting for him.

 

She had a slim face with chubby cheeks and a very slim waist with not a bit fat on her stomach and her butt, her butt was thick. All over she had the figure that was made to kill a man.

 

Her complexion was fair and her lips her of heart-shaped. From her lipstick to her top and then her skirt and then heels, all was in pink color ever the bag she was holding. The picture of a strawberry and a barbie came in Nathan's mind as he amused looked at her appearance.

 

The young doctor sure was very girlish.

 

Only the doctor’s lab coat was of white color...

 

She nervously tucked her hair strand behind her ear and Nathan noticed her nails painted in pink nail polish.

 

“Come, let head inside. Roger, you are free to leave,” Nathan's voice was dominant and very deeply masculine. Sophia shivered to hear his voice.

 

His whole persona was screaming power and dominance.

 

“Yes, sir. Good night sir and doctor.” Roger said but only heard Sophia reply in return.

 

“Good night, Mr. Roger. Take care.” The driver smiled as he sat back in the car.

 

Sophia noticed the rude behavior of the dominating man and shook her head.

 

She dislikes people who treated other people with rudeness. However, she was nobody to say a word against the man that walks in front of her.

 

She noticed how the men were standing at a distance. They all looked so dangerous and Sophia gulped feeling scared.

 

“Where is the patient?” Sophia asked as they entered the well-furnished house.

 

“Follow me,” he ordered and Sophia frowned at his arrogant tone but didn’t utter a word.

 

They walked into a corner room and Sophia gasped seeing the condition of the man who was laying on the stretcher.

 

“Oh my! This is a serious case. We urgently need to take him to the hospital!” Sophia exclaimed seeing the deep holes in the young man's stomach and left arm.

 

“You are brought here from Chicago not to take him to the hospital! Treat him here, we will provide you with everything you need,” Nathan said sternly giving her a sharp look to dare to go against his words.

 

“But—.” She started but was cut off harshly.

 

“You do your duty doctor! Just save my brother and do as much as it is said. No one asked for your opinion or suggestions.” He said sternly and each word clearly. Sophia's eyes widened but then she composed herself.

 

“Mr. Williams this rude attitude of yours isn’t appreciated at all!.” She said in a slow voice looking at him with a frown but to Nathan, she looked like a kitten that was trying to throw a fit.

 

The rude tone of people hurt her always but she knows if she replies to them the same way no one was standing there to shield her so she stayed quiet, but this young man was repeatedly insulting her and she couldn’t stop herself...

 

“Start the operation, I want him to wake up as soon as possible.” He said arrogantly as he looked at her with a strange glint in his eyes and without hearing her reply left the room.

 

“What the hell...” Sophia said in low voice and neared the patient who was in a very critical condition.

 

“Doctor?” Sophia turned and saw two men standing there with lab coats on them.

 

Sophia raised her eyebrows in question, “Hello, are you both also doctor?” She questioned.

 

“yes I am Ronald and I am a doctor and this is Alex he is a nurse.” Sophia looked and them carefully accessing them and then shook her head.

 

These are so strange and mysterious people! Sophia wondered.

 

“Okay! Please help me with operating the machine so we can start with the procedure.” She told them as she put her hair in a clip and placed her bag on the side.

 

She was now in her no-nonsense and very serious doctor mode where no mistakes were acceptable.

Sophia managed to locate the gunshot in the next 2 hours but when her eyelids started to droop, she decided to take a break.

 

It was 12:35 am and her eyes were burning with the need to sleep.

 

Her body was tired because of the hectic routine and the traveling she did today.

 

“We will take out the gunshot in half an hour. Hopefully, the man would survive without catching an infection.” Sophia said as she sat on the chair but then decided to go outside for a walk.

 

“Yes, as you say doctor Sophia.” The guy Liam who is a nurse said and she nodded my head and then walked out.

 

A cool breeze was flowing and she exhaled in utter bliss as the cool air touched her.

 

Though the environment was peaceful yet a strange type of fear was engulfing her.

 

The fear of being alone in a house full of unknown strange men......

 

She heard a voice of soft tune of music coming from the backyard and out of curiosity, she slowly walked to the backyard.

 

The men were sitting on the plush sofas with cigar and wines in their hands. There were around 8 men.

 

She saw Nathan Williams sitting on the plush sofa with a cigar in one hand and a wine glass in another.

 

She was looking at them with curiosity from the corner when suddenly she saw a rat near her feet and a shriek left her mouth and she startled moved back only to fall back and hit the ground with a thud.
