It was another peaceful and silent morning in Chicago, Illinois. Pedestrian was walking to their workplaces as usual in silence. Dr. Sophia was among those pedestrians. Sipping slowly on her favorite hot espresso coffee, she checked the time on her wristwatch. 7:15 am She still had plenty of time before going to work. Unknown to the danger lurking in her surroundings, she stopped to look at the group of stray cats. It is her daily ritual. Smiling softly, she took out the cat food box she keeps in her bag every day for the cats. Grabbing a fist full of cereals, she threw it out in way of cats, who attacked the food, delightedly. Sophia was horrified by the incident that happened just a few hours ago. The dead man's face flashed in her mind and a lone tear left her eye and rolled down her cheek. She was shocked at this height of cruelty. Why would someone even ever kill ?! Don’t they have any heart?! Her mind wandered to the past. She was fifteen years old when her mama and papa were killed mercilessly by the robbers that invaded their house at 2:00 am. She remembered how her mom shoved her down the bed and made her promise to not make a noise. She remembered how her father was shot in the chest. She saw the men raping her mother with her own eyes and then shooting her in the stomach. She was a child then. She saw from underneath the bed how her parent's body fell to the ground. She remembered her mother’s scream. She remembered the pool of blood that tainted the clean white floor that night. How her parent was laying loveless in the pool of their on their blood... Everything changed that night..

Sophia entered the cabin of her boss who was in his early sixties. He is Sam Williams, the owner of the private hospital where she works and is a very respectable man. Sophia respects him. He is very generous and is very good with his employees. “Hello, sir. How are you?” Sophia greeted politely and Sam Williams smiled at her and then motioned for her to sit. Sophia sat down and looked at her boss. “I am good, Sophia. How are you dear?” Sam Williams asked as he left the paper he was looking at and looked straight at Sophia. No one would say this man is in his sixties because he looked no year above 45. Sophia smiled and said, “I am fine, Sir. She thought Mr or Master Nathan was an old man with a protruding stomach and bald head. She won't know why she thought like that but she did think that. But this man that was standing in front of her was the epitome of perfection. He is tall almost 6’3 and broad. His well-defined body was very nicely showing through the body fitted button-down shirt he wore. He was fair in complexion and his eyes were a dark shade of brown. He is a handsome man and it was no doubt. Sophia closed her eyes and yawned softly. She was sleepy and hungry. It had been 14 hours since she last had food and men here didn’t have the decency to ask her if she was hungry. Seems like I have to make myself some food! She thought sarcastically as she got up from the chair and headed into the sitting area and searched for the kitchen. She found the kitchen and smiled. Seeing that no one was there she walked into the kitchen and looked into the refrigerator. A frown appeared on her face when she saw that there were only wine bottles and ice in the fridge. Frustrated, she closed the fridge and opened different cabinets in search of food but found nothing. Ahem Ahem! She heard a cough from behind her and turned at once. After 10 more minutes, they finally reached the town's most lavish restaurant. Sophia looked at the restaurant after getting out of the car and then at the mud stains on her dress. “Mr. Williams, I cannot go inside with stained clothes,” Sophia said in low voice. Nathan looked at the almost invisible stains on her clothes and rolled his eyes. “Doctor! No one is going to notice you. Now walk!” Nathan said in his deep authoritative voice and walked to the entrance. Sophia frowned but then she quickly ran after him. Nathan smirked as she came rushing and stood next to him but didn’t turn to her. The waiters led them inside and Sophia held Nathan's forearm unconsciously in fear. There was no one in the restaurant. “Doctor I told you, you cannot touch a man so frankly—.” “There is no one else here. Are you sure it’s safe to dine in here?” Sophia cut him off as she looked at the dimly lit place in fear. An amused smile formed on Nathan's face. The young doctor was asking

But to ease your curiosity, I am CEO of Williams Steel mills, William Hotels, pubs, and also Williams sugar factories. And I do own many local restaurants and I am a landlord.” Nathan told her proudly with a hint of arrogance. “Oh my God! You are so rich! Girls must be rushing after you!” Sophia said without thinking. “Oh, and did you inherit it all or self-made? You didn’t tell me this when I asked before.” Sophia added to cover up her previous dialogue. Nathan stared at her amused and let out a small chuckle. “Well, all the pubs and hotels and Steel Mills are my own. All the others I have inherited. You tell me about yourself, doctor.” Nathan said to her sipping slowly on his wine glass. “I am not a very interesting person. Sophia rush inside the patient room and grabbed the stethoscope hastily. Checking the patient breathing she looked at the nurse and said, “we need to test his blood and then we need blood.” Nathan entered the room with Liam following behind. “All okay?” He asked Sophia in his deep emotionless voice. “No, we need blood. What’s his blood group?” Sophia asked him calmly. “I don’t know doctor,” Nathan answered her query. “Oh no, okay okay Mr. Ronald be quick to test his blood at the pharmacy and then bring blood from the hospital. Okay? Please be fast.” Sophia said shaking her head and Nathan and Liam looked at each other with a knowing look. “Doctor will he be okay?” Liam asked her and Sophia looked at him with worry. “Ah, I don’t know. Today’s morning was very haunting for Sophia. She didn’t get a wink of sleep. She waited for anyone to come and open the door. She sat up as the door was unlocked and then the door opened revealing a tall bulky man. Sophia gulped as she stared at the unknown man with lots of tattoos, in fear. “Doctor! Come and wake up the man. Boss is calling you.” The man said as he looked at Sophia with amazement. The girl is so beautiful. Like all men, he thought the same about her. “O-okay,” Sophia said as she got up from the bed and walked slowly to the door. As she neared him, In a moment she raised her leg and then kicked the man where the sun doesn’t shine and in a slow-motion, the man falls on his knees groaning in pain and a smile broke on her face in victory. “Bloody hell!” The man’s curse brought Sophia out of stance and she quickly dashed out of the room.
