Chapter Twenty-Nine

I sat at the other corner of the couch while Lorenzo stayed on his side. He handed me the fast food meal and I gave him a small smile before flipping through the TV shows to watch. I finally found the one I was looking for and clicked on it.

I pulled out the burger from the bag and unwrapped it before taking a bite. I was incredibly hungry and couldn't cook, I was thrown off balance. I can't understand why I couldn't focus on anything. All I could think about was the man sitting beside me on the couch pretending to be interested in the TV I was watching.

I can't make it more obvious than I already had. Lorenzo already knew that I was trying to seduce him, I mean, I was but sometimes the lines between my plan and my feeling seemed to get blur but I regained my focus once more. I won't lose it again.
