Ice,
The night was shrouded in darkness as I hid inside an old building, clutching one of my deadly baby bolt-action sniper rifles.
My sights were trained on the figures below, engaged in an illicit negotiation in the depths of the dark alley. This syndicate was a notorious gang, untouchable by the law due to their corrupt connections. It was a rare opportunity to witness one of their members involved in such an illegal transaction in all my years as an assassin, hunting down criminals across the globe.
However, this time, I hesitated. Why? Because the man I was about to eliminate was none other than Mr. Alvin Barton, the father of my soon-to-be wife, Candice. She possessed captivating chocolate-colored eyes and a smile that radiated innocence.
The conflicting emotions surged within me as I grappled with the decision to fulfill my duty or spare him for the sake of Candice.
I still vividly recall Candice's initial rudeness towards me when we first crossed paths as children. Despite the years of pursuing her and tirelessly following her every move, she had always been elusive. But finally, she relented and gave me a chance.
However, there were aspects of my life that I couldn't reveal to her, even though she's my girlfriend.
I was part of the mafia organization known as Heart Steel, working as an assassin and a secret agent for the covert agency known as "Spider." It was a highly classified organization, and I held a prominent position within its ranks.
In my youth, I had tragically lost my sight in an accident. However, my family's financial constraints prevented me from undergoing the necessary operation. Everything changed when I was approached by the leader of Spider, who scouted children with exceptional potential worldwide. Being the youngest recruit, I spent almost five years waiting for a suitable donor. When the opportunity finally presented itself, I made the life-altering decision to undergo the procedure without my family's knowledge or consent.
At the time, it was my only opportunity to regain my eyesight and see again. Initially, I had doubted the sincerity of the group, believing that the team leader, Ryan, was simply bluffing.
However, I soon discovered the truth behind their operations. It turned out that "Spider" was a covert organization dedicated to hunting down and eliminating dangerous individuals.
And so, that's how I found myself becoming one of "Spider's" lethal assassins, driven by my newfound ability to see and fueled by the desire to bring justice to those who deserved it.
I focused my mind and took a deep breath, my sights still fixed on the man before me. However, doubt began to creep in. What would happen if Candice discovered that I had killed this man? And what about my mafia boss? Not to mention my friend Tiago Sanchez, who would surely condemn me if he ever learned that I was an undercover agent infiltrating the mob.
"Ice, what the fuck are you waiting for?" Ryan's voice interrupted my thoughts.
I tilted my head, trying to retain my composure. "Ryan, no one informed me that today's target on my hit list would be my father's fiancée," I responded calmly, yet the uncertainty lingered in my mind.
"If I had told you beforehand, you might have refused the assignment. But Ice, there's no one else as skilled as you in handling this job. Heart Steel won't ever know." Ryan's words hung in the air, urging me to follow through with the mission.
With a heavy sigh, I acknowledged that Ryan was right. I was indeed the only one capable of carrying out this mission. Fortunately, my exceptional skills were unknown to my colleagues at Heart Steel, ensuring that I wouldn't raise any suspicions.
Before I pulled the trigger, I took a moment to compose myself, inhaling deeply to steady my nerves. In a matter of seconds, my targets were lifeless, my bullets finding their mark with precision. Swiftly, I went about tidying up the scene, leaving no trace of my presence behind.
Eager to escape the scene, I hurriedly descended the stairs and made my way to my car, hastily speeding back to my hometown. I needed a few weeks to decompress and unwind.
As I drove, I found myself humming a tune, momentarily distracted by thoughts of the consequences of my actions earlier. However, a sudden loud bang in the vicinity snapped me back to reality, filling me with a sense of urgency and alertness.
Not far from where I pulled over, a BMW lay wrecked, and I quickly made my way towards the vehicle. Nearby, a goat lay motionless, a victim of the unfortunate collision.
To my surprise, the car door was already open, revealing a woman seated in the driver's seat. I checked to see if she was alright, but she remained unresponsive. Though she appeared uninjured, I decided it was best to take her to the hospital as a precaution. It was ironic that after causing harm earlier, I now found myself trying to save someone's life.
Carrying the unconscious girl, I hurried back to my car. Her disheveled hair obscured her face, but her fair complexion gave the impression that she hailed from a well-to-do family, perhaps the daughter of a prominent business owner in town.
When I offered to take her to the hospital, she refused, surprising me with her resilience and determination.
Ugh whatta girl…
She pleaded with me to lay her down, commanding me in a manner that felt unfamiliar, as though she were speaking to a servant. I tilted my head in surprise, as no one had ever addressed me in such a manner before.
When I carefully laid her in the back of my car, I finally caught a glimpse of her face. Her eyes possessed a gentle blue hue, resembling the depths of the ocean. Her face had a delicate heart shape, and her lips had a youthful pout. A simple yet adorable nose adorned her face. The scent of chamomile emanated from her messy, straight black hair, bringing a sense of calm to my senses. I couldn't explain it, but as I gazed at her, the world seemed to momentarily stand still.
As I noticed the slight transparency of her thin white long sleeve, I whispered to myself, "Oh, sweetie! One sin for my girlfriend was enough tonight.”
I felt the urgency to send her home quickly, not wanting to commit another sin. However, she insisted that she was merely a tourist in search of a place to stay.
"What the heck?" I muttered to myself, sensing that there was more to her story than just looking for temporary accommodation.
With shaky legs, she managed to slip out of my car after opening the side latch. I shouted after her, bewildered by her sudden departure as she made her way back to her own vehicle.
"Where the hell are you going, sweetie?" I called out, my voice filled with concern, as she headed towards her car.
"I'm just going to get my bag," she replied, her voice tinged with a hint of exasperation. "Relax... If you're not interested in me, you can leave me alone now."
I squinted my eyes in confusion. "What?" I blurted out unexpectedly, thinking I must have misheard her.
But no matter what she said, I couldn't just abandon her here. I had a gut feeling that if I let her go, I would deeply regret it.
"Where are you planning to go?" I asked, my voice laced with concern.
"To find somewhere to stay, like a hotel or an apartment," she replied.
I instinctively reached out and held her hand. "If you're waiting for a taxi to take you there, good luck," I said, my tone filled with a hint of skepticism.
"What do you mean?" she asked, her confusion evident.
I let out a sigh. "This place is in the province. It's unlikely you'll come across a taxi at this hour."
My pause was interrupted when I noticed her discreetly glancing at my chest, where three buttons of my black long-sleeve shirt were undone.
"Stop staring at me like that, baby girl. Trust me, you wouldn't want to regret it," I remarked, smiling lightly.
There was something about her presence that made me forget about my girlfriend.
Moxie, I couldn't quite comprehend why, but I found myself incredibly drawn to his mysterious forest-like eyes. It was completely out of character for me to feel this way about a random stranger. There was something undeniably captivating about him that I couldn't ignore. I'm not easily swayed by people, but he had a magnetic pull that stirred emotions I hadn't felt with anyone else. His Italian accent seemed to penetrate deep within me, creating a desire that left me feeling vulnerable, even though he hadn't done anything to provoke it. I knew I should stay away from him. Getting any closer would inevitably lead to disaster. Yet, in his presence, I found myself losing all inhibitions. Just by looking at him, all my worries and concerns seemed to fade away. Suddenly, a thunderclap echoed through the sky, illuminating his features more clearly in the dark road. It was as if the universe was emphasizing our connection, intensifying my interest in him. As the rain began to fall, we bo
Ice, I found myself plagued with a torrent of curses as this seductive woman closed the gap between us. My thoughts spun in chaotic circles, and I felt utterly trapped. I desperately attempted to refocus my mind, reminding myself of my fiancée, Candice. Just an hour ago, I had betrayed her by taking her father's life. And now, I was succumbing to temptation at the hands of a stranger. What was happening to me? Confusion and guilt mingled as I grappled with the sudden whirlwind of emotions. But with just one kiss from this stranger, all the noise in my head faded away. I was consumed by her intoxicating scent and captivated by her stunning face. I was undeniably infatuated. It was the only explanation for everything that had transpired. I admitted to myself that I didn't feel a significant attraction towards my fiancée, in contrast to the intense pull I felt towards this enigmatic girl. So, what was it about her that had such a hold over me? I couldn't resist the allure she posses
Moxie I'm ready for all kinds of attacks that may come from this man while he's glaring at me. We just had sex! Now he's acting like nothing happened. Is this how one-night stands work? Or maybe we hadn't finished it? I peek at his visible bulge secretly. As I see it, it's still hard... I wonder if it hurts. Maybe he's acting mad because of that? But it's because of the accident. He doesn't need to act like a jerk. Why the hell did you point the blame at me? Ugh! Ice phones ring, which makes the atmosphere around them lighter. I hope he didn't fake his name like I did. "Hello? Yes, I'm visiting their tomb. Why? Really?" "Don't worry, I'll be back as soon as possible." I just listened to what this man had to say on the other side. Though she didn't understand she was frustrated enough to apprehend what he had been saying. Besides, it's not her business. The call ended. His gaze turned back on me again. "Don't think too highly of yourself," not because I was attracted to you ea
Moxie "What are you doing here?" Moxie asked in panic. As what she could see through those dangerous pairs of eyes. His broad shoulder is on display. And good lord, I promise my eyes was to pop out. I almost always check my mouth if I'm drooling. This man is more dangerously gorgeous with the lights on. "I told you I'm dangerous if a woman teases me." "More if she stares at me like what you were doing now." Narrowing my eyes, I didn't expect any kind behavior from this man, which is why I instantly fell for that kind of gaze. Damn him. "I warn you. I'll scream if you come any closer towards me." "Why? Are you afraid that you couldn't stop your self-toss on me?" Ice said... Should I be the one asking you that? "You literally come over in my room." I grin while I notice his jaw clenching. peeved at what I said. I see we both have high pride. "What?" "Did I hit the nerve? " "I came in just to remind you to shut your mouth." nothing happened on the road." I smirk. "Including wh
Moxie "Are there any malls or boutiques nearby?" I asked while having breakfast with t he entire family. We are on the first floor, where the family's kitchen is located. a few people passing by the hall, which I can see through the open door of the kitchen. Maybe some tenants are staying on the first floor. I wonder if they have a kitchen as well. If their rooms were as small as mine, she could tell the space was not enough to have a kitchen. "Are you planning to buy something?" Hazel asks. On the other hand, Ice just went on eating like he didn't hear anything. "Some stuff, and maybe groceries?" "Since I'm staying here, I should buy food, right?" "I thought you wouldn't think about that. I suggest you buy your own stove where you could cook for yourself." Ice interrupts all of a sudden. I eye him in horror. I don't know how to cook! I don't even know how a stove works, for Pete's sake! “She shouldn't have to do that. We could put her in our budget." Daisy, Ice's mother, said
Ice I really hate this woman's gut. She's the only girl who could keep up with my naughty behavior. Or should I say she is more mischievous than me? to the point that I easily pettish at her words. I teased her, yet at the end, I would end up annoyed. I could tell that she was used to it. She has a strong personality; she has no fright. She spe aks out her words, though she knows the impact of the way she replies. If a regular dude, for sure she's already tossing in her bed, for instance. But since I was the one who stole her fucking V card, I wonder how she handled the other man she pissed off. Either the guys coming upon her are pussies or she has bravery that all men would be afraid of. But as I notice, she's not that intimidating, so how? Is it maybe her family? I nod. Her family is surely so powerful that no one could behave inadequately toward her. Good thing my pride keeps up. That's the only thing keeping me from tossing her in bed that night. I tilted my head as I saw he
IceShe struggles and fights. She wants to escape from me. "Why did you tell that to your sister?" Do you know what consequences you have to go through after this? Damn, I'm not here to be with some random cheater like you.I swallow hard. The more she struggles, the stiffer the thing down in my pants gets. "Damn it, don't fucking move, baby girl, or I'll let out this monster inside of me again." I'm sorry, I just thought we needed to talk before I went. Yes, I do have a girlfriend. Making out with you last night is totally wrong. But I remind you that you were the first one to initiate. "I'm just an ordinary guy, you know."I tilt my head as she moves again. Damn this girl! She won't stop until I laugh crazily."Stop the car," she said, using the famous word for a woman if she fights with her boyfriend inside the car. The thing is, I'm not her boyfriend. I can tell how dangerous her tone is. She let me know that at any moment she would send me to hell if I didn't open it. "I said
Ice "But you have to; you have a girlfriend, Ice." It's unfair that you were flirting with me while your girlfriend trusted you so much. "If I were in her shoes, I would be damn hurt." Fuck! I admit what she said is right, but every time I stare at Maxi like this, the urge to run my fingers all over her body is so strong. "I didn't know either; it just happened that I couldn't resist your charm." " Damn!" I said defeated. "Why were you forced to do what you did?" Damn you too, Ice! Damn you! I hope you realize that I am too innocent for all of the things that happen to us. I'm literally seduced by you. What happened is new to me. As we can see from us two, you're the older. You should be the one to have the most control over the situation. "But what have you done instead?" Once again, she's right, yet as of now, the more I look into her eyes and listen to her rants, the more I want to kiss her. Fuck this libido! Why could she make this soldier in my pants stand up just by s
