Chapter 13: Plane Suspicion

"Were you trying to put me in areas that you'd love to go, huh?" I responded, raising my eyebrows across Ares as I thought about it.

While we were at his office, he didn't do anything more than relax in the swivel chair he keeps there. His other hand was holding a pen, while the one on his left had a little glass that appeared to contain some kind of alcoholic beverage.

"First, there was the ball, and now there's even a wedding?"

Ares cocked his head to one side and bobbed his head in a deceitful manner. "I had no choice. It's the wedding of one of my dearest and longest-standing friends."

I rolled my eyes at the situation, and I'm not even sure if he has seen it or not at this point. Ares, at this point it is up to you to decide how to proceed.

"Is this going to be the cause of yet another argument between us?"

I moaned, frustrated at my inability to have a coherent conversation with him. "I'm not the type of person who enjoys going to parties
