Finding common ground with Beth was like checking off a prize on a lottery ticket for me. It just so happened that I walked into the kitchen at the same time as she and Frida were standing there, and I noticed them both there. Ares and his men delivered me to the estate as we had agreed, so that I could spend some time in this location.

The size of Beth's smile broadened as she watched me enter the building. It was at that moment when Frida turned her attention to me.

"May I ask how you are doing, Miss Mariana? You've gotten pretty!" Which caused me to redden my cheeks when Beth said it.

I answered, "It doesn't seem likely to me. Things here are giving me a lot of anxiety!"

Frida let out a chuckle. "Since you are still getting used to being in this kind of setting, it is reasonable that you might feel this way. I'm relieved to hear that, at the very least, you're making an effort to adapt."
