The second I stepped out onto the back porch, all four of my wolves turned and looked at me, their eyes wide and glowing in the darkness. They shook their heads and gestured back at the door, trying to get me to go inside.
“It’s okay,” I said. “I’m awake. I know what I’m doing.”

It was time that the rest of the story was told, and since my grandma and mom were the ones that knew first hand what had happened to my dad and to Grandma herself, Ben was right in suggesting I ask them for the rest of the story.
