Chapter 15

I follow Blake outside the classroom, furious that I had to be paired with the arrogant bastard.

"Can I see the map?" I call after Blake as I run after him. Damn tall people and their long legs, it's hard keeping up with him. "I want to know where we are headed."

Samael gave us this map with locations we are supposed to find. He told us another teacher has hidden items at every location, and as proof that we have been to the spots on the map, we need to bring those items back to the classroom.

Blake shoots a look over his shoulder. He is way taller than me and has to lower his gaze to meet my eyes. He does it with a disapproving scowl like he isn't impressed by what he sees—what a jerk.

"You would know where these places are anyhow," Blake says and walks slower to let me catch up with him. "How fast can you run?"
