The cave is cold, and the wind travels through it, making me shudder as I follow Lucy deeper inside. A fire sitting in his palm casts our shadows on the wall, but I can only focus on Lucy. My eyes are glued to his broad back, and if my heart had a face, it would be smiling. I'm thrilled to be reunited and alone with my mate.
