Chapter 25: Jax - Why is this happening?
After Mark had left with Sky, I had felt the need to clear my head. I apologies to Cassie and went outside. The cool air rushed between my feathers as I circled over the treetops. The sun had started to go down, painting the sky in various shades of pink and orange. I kept flying until the stars came out.
When I got back, Leah and Cassie had already ordered take away, which we enjoyed in front of the tv. Cassie cuddled up to me and I placed my arm around her. Overwhelmed with joy at how strong our relationship was becoming.
